Amazing food and equally amazing service, the restaurant is gorgeous with a lovely vibe and all for a very reasonable price. Definitely visit if in Matera for the weekend!

We ordered 3 tasting menus while my wife was ill and ordered only legume soup. The restaurant was kind enough to accept the partial dining participation of my wife, but they shouldn’t take coperto on my wife. The fourth menu was pasta with churn oyster and seaweed and fried garlic, this one had fishy taste and smell. Suggestion to choice of wine selection was also excellent.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we were thrilled with the result. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly to us even though we did not speak Italian. The food was amazing, beyond expectation. We were not super hungry, so we ordered from the la carte menu and it was plenty and so good. Chef Pompeo came out to check on us and even offered to take our photo on the front porch with the amazing night view of Matera. We will return to Matera some day and this restaurant will be at the top of our must do list.
