We popped into our first transport cafe in France and what a surprise. We really enjoyed our meal and it was not expensive. The location was good and service excellent

Fabulous value for money particularly given the choice and quality of the buffet starters. Good choice of freshly cooked mains excellent cheeseboard plus a dessert. Wine included. We attended as part of a party of about 40 and they were not fazed even though there was an even bigger party in the conservatory. A must if staying in Doue and definitely worth a detour.

GREAT value to midday and evening, used by truck drivers who are always polite and busy chat among themselves. and the good worth know when they see it. Not if they posh esszimmer, but hey, for the price they get a huge...buffet (sometimes with lobster, garnel, crabs, etc.) with lots of fresh french brotboard, a the service is always fast and with a smile, and they can then move to the bar for coffee. Called in for lunch. Buffet d'entree and a choice of 5 or 6 main coursesI had the tripe sausage which was lovely, and my wife and daughter had the sole. The sole was cooked to perfection.A choice of 5 cheeses before finishiing off with a choice of desserts.Who can complain for €13 per headDon't come here for the linen and ambiance, but for the great wholesome and wonderful food. Don't be put off by the trucks and truckers.

Four of us stopped here for a lunch formule recently. It is a Euro Routiers recommended restaurant and was very full with workmen. We were seated straight away. The daily formule was €12 each, which included a carafe of wine - well we had two, as two of us wnated rose and two wnated red, so excellent value. We each had a beer to start at €2.60 each, and the total bill came to €58.40 for the four of us. The starter was a help-yourself buffet - all fresh and beautifully presented, and all our main courses were very good and freshly cooked..

welcome, quickly sit with a smile. the buffet starter was extensive with a lot of selection. it followed a choice of five main courses to be fair at the day we were three were two that I did not touch travel and...andouille) but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the steak, my man enjoyed the fish and there was a very beautiful looking brain pus. to follow a beautiful cheese plate to the bottle wein in the shapeule with water and limonade, followed by maus, lemon tart or an ice. this was fantastic worth around 13:50 and most enjoyed. GREAT value at lunchtime and evening, used by lorry drivers who are always most polite and busy chatting amongst themselves ... and who know good value when they see it.Not if you like "posh dining" but hey, for the price you get a huge buffet (sometimes with lobster, prawns, crab, etc) with lots of fresh French bread, a choice of "mains" served at your table, a generous basic cheesboard, a choice of very simple puds, and half a bottle of wine per person. Service is always quick and with a smile, and you can move to the bar for coffee afterwards.

we have discovered this on trip advisor when planning a visit to troglodyte websites. the card was not helpful as it is actually at a large circular traffic on the d960, and not where the TA card showed. but eating is for him: a varied, well-baked...buffet, followed by a selection of 7/8 main courses. our group had chicken legs cooked in red wine, bark tongue, grilled ham, grilled fish. also available: tripe, carpaccio of bark meat, steak. there are cheese that we did not have and a lot of desserts, including fresh fruits. and of course brot and wein and a bowl of water for our (big) dog. great value at 13,50 € per head. very busy but excellent service.

we were looking for somewhere to stop eating and this place was recommended quite urgently. the first dining room was quite full so we were shown in the second room, which was ideal as we had our pretty Largish dog with us. we had... rested when they let dogs in. there is an extensive buffet for beginners in the chilled cabinet, we were first in the new room, so it was untouched and looked gorgeous, in the did all the dishes looked very tempting, I could limit myself the three, the avocado was especially beautiful. When 16 local pompiers came to us, the cabinet was quickly refreshed. for my main course, I had delicious with Butternuss-Quash. others at the table had desserts they enjoyed. the...
