very central restaurant in avila, in the heart of the old town. the food was rich though the chuleton we ordered tempered-cold wine but. Since we sat until we left, very slow service, min to serve the first and others per second, we were told that the kitchen was lifted and apologized but. I doubt it was full but there are not so many tables as to that delay

The gentleman who took care of us was wonderful! He suggested local dishes to us, patiently explained their menus and offered to make things that weren’t even on the printed menu. He worked hard to make sure we were happy with our meals. I had what was possibly the best salad of my life, and my daughter’s hamburger was also very good. Dessert was some type of crema and was tasty! Prices were very reasonable and the outdoor seating was nice! We highly recommend Revolution if you are in Avila!

We have never been served food like this the pasta was meant to be 3 cheese it was overcooked pasta with cream sauce , no taste of cheese at all in the ´sauce´let alone any fresh cheese on top, never mind a hint of seasoning when I asked for a black pepper mill you thought I asked for the moon ! I got some already ground pepper. It did not help. The goats cheese dish was just as shocking. In hindsight, we should have left the minute we were told not when we were given the menu of course but once we had decided to order this) that no pizza was available as they had no pastry!! Flour and butter should be in any kitchen at all times, let alone a restaurant kitchen.
