Eccellente tutto, una perfetta combinazione in simbiosi uomo-natura, che meglio non si può. C'è tutto quello che si possa desiderare, senza lusso....

Una pausa in un rifugio tradizionale con personale professionale simpatico e cortesissimo Canederli tradizionali semplicemente perfetti vista incantevole e cortesia . Non ha rivali in zona per qualità e cortesia

Tipico rifugio di montagna, è stato paicevolissimo trascorrere un po' di tempo mangiando cose tipiche. Il locale è molto caratteristico, con servizi ottimi. Lo staff è cordiale ed attento. We were lucky enough to get a private room in this Refugio, so the snoring that is common in this type of property wasn 't an issue. This is a fairly large Refugio, but it was well run, the women were extremely friendly. The water is potable, so you can fill your water bottle and the showers are free. If you get the half board, try to avoid hammelflesich at dinner, we think it was mutton and it tasted really awful not that anything was wrong with it, that is just how it tastes)

Great room, came with en-suite shower (wow!!! we didn't smell the next day). Wi-Fi sort of OK, took a while to work out how to log on for the 30mins but hey... Welcome very good (I used German, some English spoken). Nice outside seating, not quite big enough an area for all the people staying though. Good beer. Evening meal was a la carte, and good quality. Breakfast was mediocre to be honest (it was good, but no speck which let the quality down, considering the size and reputation of the place speck should have been on the menu. Great place to walk from. We left and walked to somewhere near Laguzouoi (spelling, sorry), going up the really difficult way to Via Ferrata Tomaselli and then down...

We stopped for a lunch on a hike in this Rifugio. Now I know that it was a mistake, and would be better to select one that is off the horribly beaten path of Alta Via 1. Food is good, but it does not justify the artificial touristic atmosphere caused by Alta Via 1 bumper to bumper stressed tourists. When we got to the Rifugio, during peak busy lunch time, a horrible loud and aggressive American lady just saved half of the tables outside for her friends that are on their way . Yes, everyone is on his way on Alta Via 1... Eventually we gave up and went inside (which was quite gloomy for that beautiful day).
