Lovely setting and decent food but thought the menu was a little limited and they were clearly understaffed as many places are at the moment. Good for a spot of lunch but there are other options in town.

The staff were very friendly. While the starter was disappointing, the main dish was excellent. The food was reasonably priced, but the wine was quite overpriced. We arrived to find that there wasn’t a table reserved for us. There was also a very big noisy group at the bar. It was impossible to get near enough to say that we weren’t staying and would like to cancel the booking. So we left. We have eaten on the terrace on another occasion recently and it was very good.

Excellent service. Welcomed by our waiter Sam who was so pleasant and friendly, nothing was to much trouble for him. He’s a real asset to your team. The food selection was limited and the main course came out before we’d finished our starters so perhaps a little to efficient. The ambience and surroundings were lovely.

Our reservation didn't go through with Riverside, but luckily there were plenty of available tables in the restaurant. It was quite noisy due to the many people at the bar attending a conference. The food was good, although the chips were incredibly hot, so we had to let them cool for about 15 minutes. On a positive note, the service was excellent. Speisekarte ansehen

I made a reservation waiting to eat at a restaurant, but it turns out that at this time there is only service at the bar. We end up eating from the bar's small menu, being served by the bar-tenders (very friendly, but they are not restaurant waiters.) the meal frankly...not good or bad. they should correct the schedules to not make reservations before 17:00 when the restaurant opens.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted by an unorganized scene at the bar, making it somewhat difficult to locate the entrance. Fortunately, a very helpful and friendly waitress guided us to a table located as far from the bar as possible. My wife wanted to order a cocktail, but due to the chaotic atmosphere at the bar, the waitress suggested it might be challenging. However, she managed the difficult circumstances exceptionally well. The starter and main course were both very good, but there was a long delay before the dessert was served. I sensed that during the Christmas party season, guests may not receive the best service. We arrived at the time we had booked, they didn’t have our table reserved so they tried to seat us on another terrace, not the one booked. We asked to be seated on the upper terrace and they managed to seat us but they were very obviously annoyed, and a little rude. Ordered starters and mains which all came out together and when we said we ordered them as starters and mains were told “well that’s not what the order says” they sent them back and whilst we were eating our starters they asked us 4 times if we had finished. Hey presto when the mains came out they were very obviously reheated. There was hot salad on my plate! All the food was going to the wrong tables, wrong orders, the table nex... Speisekarte ansehen
