"I had intended this dinner to be the climax of our culinary experiences in Bologna. Alas, it was a highlight, but not as I had anticipated. Prior to our arrival, my partner looked at the menu. His remark was, 'It 's very long not a good sign. Better that they do a few things well than try to be all things to everyone. ' When we arrived, we were shown to our table, and abruptly asked 'Still or sparkling? ' before we had even had a chance to sit down. We chose the food: I opted for fried calamari, followed by a fish mixed grill. He chose prawn carpaccio and spaghetti vongole. Having reviewed the wine list (and being disappointed that some of my choices were marked as unavailable, I selected a local white. The first course arrived very quickly. We were simultaneously told that our choice of wine was unavailable. It is nice to enjoy a little wine before dining, but that pleasure was denied us. The replacement wine choice was admittedly served quickly; however, that reflected the general rush of the restaurant. I was not left feeling that there were enough waiting staff for the number of covers. The ice bucket was full of ice, but no water, which is standard to properly chill wine. Back to the food. My partner 's prawn carpaccio was still partially frozen, and led to him suggesting that they buy in frozen disks. In contrast, my calamari was excellent. As regards the next course: my mixed fish grill was partially cold and partially overcooked. The white fish was good, but the langustine practically inedible. My partner 's spaghetti alla vongole was cold. A cold pasta dish in Bologna, of all places. I had ordered a side dish of spinach, which could have fed a family of four. It was good and hot, but mostly wasted, alas. At the end of the meal, when we declined dessert, we explained our misgivings to the waiter. I don 't think that he understood the multiple problems. What a disappointment! For a restaurant charging so much, you 'd be better taking your money elsewhere."

Cibo di ottima qualità, personale molto formato e cortese, consiglio assolutamente se si vuole assaporare una buona cucina bolognese e non!

posto con gusto antico, ben curato e pulito, personale davvero cordiale e disponibile, pesce crudo fresco, consiglio di provare la coda di rospo alla griglia. prezzo non a buon mercato, ma siete al centro e la qualità è lì. Speisekarte ansehen

The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived but lacked any ambience. We ordered a good wine which lived up to expectations. The same could not be said of the food. Maybe we just expected too much after having had amazing food in Pisa and Florence but this was really underwhelming. To be fair, i can barely remember what we had to eat but can confirm that this was how memorable it was!

Lots of research and booking for restaurants on our summer visit. But not this one, which was plucked from a book. And is the best so far. A lesson of sorts. It seems formal white table cloths, lots of dark wood but was so friendly. We were greeted by name at the door. Highlights were a perfect beef carpaccio and a moreish, lemony veal scallop. Pasta and fish great too. Prices are perhaps a little raised but not much different to everything around. We appreciated the lovely food and the welcome and conversation.

Rodrigo’s promised so much , but delivered so little. We arrived to a nice welcome and were shown to our table. We were not given time to peruse the menu , the waiter just wanted our order immediately. After each course, our plates were whipped away and we didn’t have an opportunity to digest our food before the next course came. Food was mediocre to say the least. Over cooked fish at enormously expensive prices. Service was over efficient! This meal cost us a fortune. We had decided to splash out, as it was our wedding anniversary. It was my last day in Bologna and it being my foodie trip and a Sunday. My hotel booked and recommended this place and I was told it was authentic! Well when I got here it was lovely inside. But told their specialities was seafood and I should order that. Although they did Bolognaise food for tourists. So I had the recommended fish antipasti which was nothing special! More shells than fish! So I just got Tagliatelle al Ragù as it was something I wouldn’t have for ages. It was so disappointing! The service was inattentive and they only spoke to me when I was paying! It is so overpriced and underwhelming. I pay a lot for eating out in general isn’t even worth it for half the price! Sono venuto a cena con un amico qui, era da un po' che volevo provarlo perché un amico me ne ha sempre parlato bene, allora vengo qui e prendiamo un tortellini, molto buoni, anche perché si sentiva molto la carne e ho apprezzato, poi una tagliatella al ragù, non male, e poi una cotoletta alla bolognese, anche questa buona e nel modo tipico bolognese senza aggiunte di creme ecc... Totale e voi mi chiederete e come mai questa differenza dal costo dei piatti? Bhe perché l'acqua costa a bottiglia così come il coperto, a persona, che sinceramente in entrambi i casi ho trovato fuori luogo, l'acqua è una bottiglia come tante altre, così il coperto, cioè non c'era niente di diverso di altri ristoran...
