The service, food, and location are consistently fantastic at this restaurant.

Love this place as a guilty pleasure the food is divine and always so hot and fresh the salt squid is the best!

Expensive food, bad portions, terrible staff and service. Chicken appeared processed and had a mushy texture. Avoid at all cost.

The service was absolutely disgusting, food was almost thrown at you, no communication, the lad was quite Seville, we spent £640 and gave them a tip they did not deserve, will not be going there ever again, I give them a 1star for service, but a 4 star for food. Mrs Leigh Smith

Reviews tend to be just for the very good or the very bad and this was bad; possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever tasted. It was crude, stodgy and having little relationship to the subtlety of flavours and textures one expects . A real disappointment after some positive comments from family so hopefully a one off blip. After specifically asking how long it would take as had other food to collect for my family was told 15-20mins, after collecting other foods, I arrived 25mins after placing the order. I enquired and was told 2mins which i thought was odd but they were busy. After waiting another 5-7mins I enquired again to find out they had forgotten my order.. All i get is a sorry.. All the other food in the car is now cold by the time i got home.. so family treat night was ruined.. wont be using them again....

Poor service and the quality really isn't anything special. We went in with someone who had an allergen so didn't want to risk eating anything other than chips, we asked if they would order them off the normal menu rather than the all you can eat menu. They said they were too busy to have someone order off the normal menu, even though they did chips on the all you can eat. Very greedy and not thinking about their customers. Very disappointed, as our friend had to sit there and not eat anything all night.

I recently dined with my family at the Royal Garden. We have visited this restaurant many times in the past without any issues, but this time, the entire experience was disappointing. After ordering our starters, we waited for 30 minutes without them ever arriving. When we inquired, the staff seemed unaware of our order, so we had to place it again. When the starters finally arrived, they were incorrect and one dish was served cold. The server was apologetic, but the older woman who appeared to be in charge was abrupt and impolite.
