Absolutely the best Chinese in Stevenage. I will never use any other Chinese in town. Keep it up sampan you are the best.

We just tried UberEats from Sampan for the first time. It was absolutely perfect - hot, incredibly tasty, and not greasy at all. It was truly lovely and will definitely be our go-to for good food.

The food at this restaurant was of very poor quality. We reached out for assistance, but received no help. Even after packing up all of the food ourselves, no help was provided. Additionally, some items were forgotten and they refused to come back to pick them up.

I ordered my meal at 6:15 and they delivered at 9:30 and was very unapologetic and was rude stating that I got the food what was I complaining about, this was an Uber delivery so could see that it had been out for delivery for over 2 hours so as you can imagine the food was stone cold and I had tried to call them over 100 times Speisekarte ansehen

We haven’t used Sam Pan for a number of years but discovered they were delivering so gave them a go. We ordered lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken, chow mien and vegetable rice but really weren’t keen on the quality of the chicken used. In fact, after a couple of bites I left the chicken and ate some noodles and rice. Missing the Old Town Chinese desperately, they’re slightly more expensive but the quality is far greater. Oh well, we gave it a try..

I ordered food from Deliveroo, including chicken curry and chips, along with a few other items. Unfortunately, the chips were not edible as they were too solid, even when covered in curry sauce. It seemed like they had been reheated multiple times, which was disappointing for my meal. I will not be returning to this restaurant. In the end, I only ended up eating some bits of chicken and chicken balls, and had to throw the rest away. Overall, it was not a good dinner experience.

Ordered from this chinese takeaway for the first time yesterday and honestly one of the worst chinese takeaways I've ever had! Food was overly salty and inedible. I hate to waste food but the noodles were so inedible, I had no choice but to throw them away! Beef tasted old and overcooked. Special fried rice was bland, yet had an underlying burnt taste! So disappointing as I was really looking forward to my meal even checked the reviews before ordering. Felt it necessary to leave a review so people are aware of the poor quality of food on offer.
