Sathi - Speisekarte

Had a lovely meal from here lots of veggie options, plenty of flavour and good value for money. Especially good sag panir!

Ordered Nan Bread, delivered partly frozen. If the Nan is frozen you wonder about the rest of the meal. Which was expensive and very average.

Fantastic indian food, with top notch service. I had the biryani, and it was excellent. Sathi has been my favourite Indian restaurant for over two decades. Speisekarte ansehen

Very disappointing takeaway again from Sathi. Have been a regular for many years . Lately either the chef has changed or they are getting agency chefs . Have complained now on two occasions. Time to vote with our feet. Won’t be returning . Melvyn Chorleywood thanks

After seeing a few bad reviews I stuck with a friends recommendation and was not disappointed! Meats were delicious, spices incredible and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Made a huge effort throughout the meal to be friendly and attentive. Do not listen to the recent 1* reviews as that’s shocking.

Recently I have been to some upmarket Indian type restaurants and found the food very average and expensive. I was recommended to visit Sathi in Chorleywood so gave it a try. I was very very impressed. Great service Clean and hygenic Hot plates and great food Big menu and reasonable prices. Drink on the house also offered. I’ll be back soon. Speisekarte ansehen

They do take it away. All you do is go on the mouse and then pay with the keyboard button but you can’t be a robot. Saying that I dressed as a robot once but I was very young then and possibly a bit unstable, anyway you go there and they put in bag and then you just take it away. It’s easy. Really nice place. We have curry and rice and those pompalooms which are like really big crisps but in a paper bag and we just take it away. I’m getting a bike.

I live down the road and go to sathi often, their quality and service was spot on. However this has not been up kept. The last few times I’ve been the food has been disgustingly oily, leaving stains on everything it touches. Plus they keep changing the recipes of my fave dishes which are now all gross. along with them constantly forgetting bits of food meaning I’ve been having to go back and retrieve my food this has happened a number of times and they give little remorse (not even a free poppadom!! As well as their food not being the cheapest, There are now no longer any good Indians in Chorleywood as sujoys is also rank and have a terrible hygiene rating

Have enjoyed food from Sathi for many, many years. Usually good quality and very tasty but last few times have been disappointing. This time it was just terrible. Three of us ordered a variety of dishes prawn, lamb and fish and various veggie sides. The mains were just bland meat in differed brown sauces. The jalfrezi is meant to be spicy with fresh chillies but was very plain with not a hint of fresh chilli in sight. The prawn dish had tiny prawns (not king prawn) in another bland brown sauce but overly sweet. I could go on but can’t be bothered. We ended the meal wishing we’d got a Chinese takeaway like the fourth member of our group who was enjoying fat king prawns in a sea of fresh veget... Speisekarte ansehen
