"I was warmly welcomed by the lovely Grace, who engaged me in delightful conversation about good food and global cuisines while serving a piping hot burger that stayed perfectly warm. The patties had that ideal crispy edge while maintaining a juicy flavor, layered with bacon, gooey golden cheese, red onion jam, and garlic aioli. The bun held everything together flawlessly, minimizing any slippage to ensure each bite was a glorious experience, complete with ample sauce for a wonderfully indulgent treat. The Cajun fries were crunchy, hot, and seasoned to perfection, and the black garlic mayo was absolutely a standout—be sure to try some of their sauces too! It was heartwarming to hear owner Steve and Grace discuss their shifts; it’s clear that Steve genuinely cares about his team, which reflects in their passion for creating excellent, indulgent food. I can’t wait to explore more of the menu and share this gem with other food lovers who appreciate a true winner. Thank you for turning my Monday around—now I can’t help but want to come back any day of the week!"

"We stopped for lunch and found it to be quite expensive. The chips had the skins on, which wasn't to my liking as I prefer them without skins. Parking is limited, especially during the busy summer months, with few spaces available. The restaurant is just wide enough to accommodate a large wheelchair, but the narrow pavement outside the entrance can be a bit challenging. The price per person ranges from £1 to £10."

"We’re afternoon drinking people. However! We popped in for a pint on a Friday evening and ended up staying for the whole night there was live music from a group of 3 guitarists who were absolutely fabulous and got everyone joining in, but not so loud that you couldn’t still have a chat. Went back on a Saturday afternoon and ended up talking to a lovely local couple. Just really easy going, friendly, comfortable, cozy and doesn’t feel like one of those ‘big chain’ pubs!"

"My first experience of the relaunched Wyatt and Jones main restaurant on Friday was amazing. Jan and his team have remade the old restaurant into a smaller but far more intimate space embracing the concept lots of smaller sharing plates rather than the usual 3 course meal template. And what fantastic food it is too. I won’t go into dishes in detail but it’s enough to say my wife and I devoured a whole host of unique and delicious plates, all using the best ingredients. The drinks too were excellent and simple and we sat at the extremely comfortable bar to eat and were made very welcome by Jan, his family and staff. The refurbished restaurant has somehow a ‘speakeasy’ feel with darker more sumptuous decor but with those amazing picture windows juxtaposed to give you dramatic views of the bay and sea. And, to top it all off, it’s nowhere near as expensive as it could be. All in all, a most excellent experience which we can not recommend highly enough. It was so good that we went back for Sunday lunch enjoying their take on a traditional roast which was equally delicious. Well done to Jan, Emily, Henry and team. Visiting Wyatt and Jones feels like having dinner at a friends house and we can’t wait to go back again soon."

"Carla Steve and staff are wellcoming , the food is really good and local fruit veg shops, , fish mongers and butchers are used. Carla is not afraid to try out new recipes yummy brown bread ice cream and grilled peaches are my favourite. Expect to wait for your order because all food is freshly cooked but awaiting your meal in Sam worth mee is relaxing in this friendly home from home establishment"
