Sen Viet Vegan - Speisekarte

I often reminisce about my visit to this restaurant. It features a lovely atmosphere and generous portion sizes. The table decorations are stunning, as noted in a previous review updated on June 1, 2023.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish we tried. Everything was incredibly flavorful and fresh. It was also wonderful to experience a variety of creative new dishes alongside traditional Vietnamese favorites.

Arrived in Hoxton for a trip to The Museum of The Home (also highly recommended btw and thrilled to find a fully vegan restaurant nearby. Fabulous food, served by lovely staff in very relaxed environment. Really tasty noodle bowls, imaginative use of tofu and wheat proteins just couldn’t be faulted. Speisekarte ansehen

My partner and I indulged in a tofu curry with rice and a sizzling mushroom dish with noodles, and both were absolutely delicious. I really made an effort to savor every bite, even though I was tempted to gobble it all down at once! Next time, I think I’ll have the noodles and rice together and mix the noodles into the curry to soak up all the flavors.

Tried for the first time and was so happy! Definitely will come back to try more as I was not too hungry on that day. The menu is pretty large and great for sharing plates together with mates. Very nice staff and atmosphere with the most adorable tables: Came back few months later to end up with the same soup as before because it was so delicious. This is one of those instances where half-star ratings would be useful. The food was generally good, but there were some hits and misses. We started with the crackers, which tasted just as I remembered they would for non-vegans. Then we had the crispy pancake, which was a standout. It was perfectly crispy, with a rich filling packed with flavors and textures. For our main courses, we ordered a family-style dish and a spicy noodle soup. Unfortunately, the first dish didn't appeal to us. The soup was good and hearty, but it lacked that special something that elevates a meal to excellence. Because it was that good! I love Vietnamese food so of course I had to come into one of London’s top rated (I hate that the sort by most reviewed was replaced with top rated, btw. Please add back sort by most reviewed, HappyCow) restaurants. I ordered some vegetable rolls with mustard sauce, summer rolls, and spicy noodle soup. The rolls tasted good but both sauces that accompanied them was not enough for the serving. The spicy noodle soups was one of the best vegan Vietnamese spicy noodle soups that I’ve had. the food was really delicious, but on the bottom it was not spicy enough! We were lucky that we were able to book a table with only 30 minutes: ! We went for mustard rolls as starters, as main dishes we chose the vegtable iron frit with tofu and rice noodles and the coconut curry with steamed rice. We both liked the starter and loved our main courses. The service was very friendly and impressive fast. The only two reasons why I'm not rated 5 stars are that it was very busy, so quite loud and we felt a little tortured between the other tables.
