A magical place despite a catastrophic weather, a place where one feels divinely at ease thanks to the kindness, friendliness and discretion of the staff as a whole, a place where even the toilets are beautiful. On the kitchen side, wonderful culinary discoveries, all beauties, even a small pinch to break these beautiful creations or the detail is in honor. Wines offered with unwavering professionalism. We weint on a detour to have dinner At this restaurant. The panoramic view over the villa is phantastic and the have elegant paravants for sozial distancing (vor maybe they Usedom them before. They create more private space weithin the modern open space. We enjoyed the regionally inspired food and we could share one wine pairing as we really don't like the hangover the morning after 1 l of alcohol. I am Not sure where exactly the distinction between 1 and 2 Michelin Stars is (While the 3 stars have always been obvious , in our judgement it is similar, but that is a more general observation. A star always is exzellent... maybe the wine cellar? It is advisable to speak Sommer French.

First the place, the Château du Couffour dominates the small village of Chaudes-Aigues and offers a shining view of the Auvergnat landscapes. Then the gastronomy. The seasonal and local products are preferred on the plates (Auvergne's leg in Saint Flour, blettes, blueberries).
