I no longer eat curry's anywhere else, just can't beat the shabaz, love the food, staff and atmosphere.

The food at this restaurant is always amazing and the service is top-notch. The staff is more than happy to suggest dishes that will cater to everyone's tastes. Sana, Raj, and Ansa are there to ensure that your visit is truly enjoyable.

My parents have been coming to this restaurant since around 1990! It never fails to impress. We always spend Christmas Day here and visit at various times throughout the year. The personal service is fabulous and the food is great. I can't fault it. Thank you for always taking care of us. :)

I came here on new years eve with my daughter and grandaughter having previously been with friends. What a let downPoppadoms burnt Roast chicken was deep fried and very dry.The staff were rushing us through the meal and gave very poor service . We booked a table for 7.30, on arrival I thought we would have to wait as the restaurant looked full, but we were seated almost straight away. The obligatory poppadoms and chutney followed by onion bahji and chicken mardras for the main. The service was excellent, food was amazing and the prices are also good. All round a good night

I've had the very great pleasure of eating both in and out over the past 20 years at the Shahbaaz. I've even done Christmas Day. Over that period I've seen other restaurants come on the scene within a close proximity but none come anywhere close when it comes to service and hospitality. Price wise this place can't be beaten. Food wise it's what I expect from an Indian restaurant, non of this Cordon Blu Nuevo nonsense. Service wise it's unmatched. The team has changed little over time and that makes them experts at what they do. To miss it is to miss out. Thank you guys for your years of great service.

My wife and I arrived at 21.30 on 30th May 2019 with closure time of 23.00 and was greeted with a terrible attitude by the waiter of “we are closing soon”! We persevered and entered as it our local restaurant and have have visited many times. We felt uneasy as the waiter in question was slamming the food trolley around (when we noticed him serving other people) the restaurant and was clearly not feeling relaxed or happy. After 10 minutes or so we asked the waiter if we could order drinks and it felt awkward. You know, like you’d asked someone to brew up for you....that you didn’t know!
