Amazing food and service, one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to! Would recommend for everyone wishing to try classical dishes.

Delicious meal, friendly and efficient staff. The food is cooked fresh and very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant. On the Main Street.

Managed to book a seat after a later fringe show. Food was standard, service was good apart from fact no-one was about when we left. A courteous cheerio wouldn't have gone a miss. Speisekarte ansehen

Issues with our booking. Made a reservation during the Edinburgh festival. Got email confirmation but when we arrived the place was closed…. Very strange. Few hours later received an email saying our booking was cancelled…

Worst Indian food I have ever eaten abroad as a half-Indian. The Thai food was also bad! My lamb was tough and old. Sauces were sour and slimy. Only the dessert was good. Otherwise absolutely not authentic. There was almost a complete lack of spices.

Food was terrible! Chicken was more of a soupy chicken, tough and completely tasteless! Sauce was spicy but without any taste…. Sweet potato pakora tasted like absolutely nothing! Find another better restaurant. Absolutely not worth the money! Staff was very unfriendly! Speisekarte ansehen

Party of three visiting Edinburgh for a few days. Just stumbled upon this Thai Indian restaurant on the Royal Mike. Great service, great food! I had Chicken PadThai and Spinach Padking. Both dishes were very flavorful! Portion sizes were excellent. My dining partners enjoyed their meals as well.

Had a wonderful dinner this evening at Shamoli Thai and Indian restaurant. There were three of us. The service is impeccable and our server was extremely helpful with helping us decide on just how hot we wanted our dishes. We had chicken Penang, butter chicken and pad king. A nice mix of Thai and Indian food. All the dishes were nicely presented and everyone commented that their dish was the best! They were all good. We are visiting from Canada and leaving Edinburgh shortly but if we were staying longer we all agreed we would come back. Do not hesitate to eat here !!!

We arrived into Edinburgh later than expected due to a flight delay. After hastily checking into our hotel the six of us were starving. We were practically running through the streets in search of a restaurant when... lo and behold.. literally like a beacon in the night we ascended a flight of stairs into this delightfully cozy and cheery eatery. When we asked the pleasant host, can we still get a table ? He responded, Absolutely !! I know it was late (around 10 pm) and they were looking to call it a night but they served us beer, wine, and the most delicious Thai food. They cold not have been nicer and more welcoming. Atmosphere is fantastic, food is great and reasonable. Highly recommend! Speisekarte ansehen
