This spot is great for a night out. The food is amazing and would definitely recommend the lamb. Amazing service and hospitality shown by the staff. Will be back soon

Food was amazing, had a Good time with my partner, nice drinks and champagne cocktails, staff was really good. The vibe was brilliant, the wagyu was really nice and the desert was a brownie which was amazing really loved it.

We were coming to Newcastle for our 25th Anniversary and booked here as it looked perfect for us unfortunately, they cancelled with 5 days notice. Not sure we'll be able to re book at such short notice for a Saturday night Really disappointed Speisekarte ansehen

Absolutely loved our evening at Silk Room, we just got engaged prior to arriving and the staff put lots of effort to ensure we had a special night. Each course was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Thank you to all at Silk Room,will definately be back

My wife and I went to this restaurant last night and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the champagne cocktails were incredible, and the waitstaff was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and plan on returning next week to celebrate our anniversary.

Looking at the glowing reviews on this site, I did double-check that I was giving feedback on the same place. I had heard many positive reports about this restaurant in its heyday, but sadly, that period seems to have passed. It was OK. Plenty of room for walk-ins on the evening that I was there. Me and husband had a great time, the food was amazing the staff were great and the drinks were lovely, we came in with low expectations but in the end this might be one of the best date nights we had in 3 years, the atmosphere in this restaurant just feels romantic which makes it really good for couple's, so I highly recommend you bringing your partner here.

We celebrated my little sister's 15th birthday at this restaurant and had a wonderful time. The food and drinks were excellent, but the highlight was the dessert. My sister ordered a chocolate brownie and it came with a candle on top, accompanied by the waiters and other patrons singing "Happy Birthday." It was a truly amazing experience, thanks to the staff and everyone else involved. My family and I had a fantastic time, and my sister was thrilled. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you.

My wife made a reservation for six of us to celebrate a special birthday meal three weeks in advance. We took two taxis to the restaurant, but when we arrived, the place was dark and our friends were waiting outside. After contacting the owner, we found out that the restaurant was closed due to an electrical fault in the kitchen. The owner was not even aware that his restaurant was closed and apologized for not informing us earlier. We ended up going to the restaurant next door, where we were told that this situation was common. It was a disappointment and ruined our special day. The way this business is run is mind-boggling.
