Will only use this takeaway in braintree. Food is always amazing and nice and hot. Pleasant staff. Worth the money

Not impressed with the food here. Was ok when we first moved in to the area, but quality and standards have fallen.

Friendly staff who were able to be flexible with a dish we wanted, food was fresh and delicious. Couldn't be happier to find this treasure and visit regularly. Speisekarte ansehen

Not impressed with my fish and chips, large haddock was the same size as the small cod, I literally had to dab the grease from the soggy fish. Overpriced at almost £13, the only good thing was the curry sauce.

I have had various fish and chips and Chinese meals from the menu of this take away. I have never had bad food and it is always warm and delivered on time (when I have gone for home delivery). I will continue to use and would recommend giving it a try.

The chips here are the best. I don't eat chips very often but this is the only place I buy them. They are cooked perfectly. Love the fish too. They will deliver, but I usually get mine as I am passing on my way home from work. Its nice to have a chat with the staff who are really great. I highly recommend this takeaway. Speisekarte ansehen

Awful service!! 1st delivery turned up after 1hour 45 mins for the wrong address. Both people were told to package it back and the driver will swap it. They said they would re-cook after we complained it would be cold. 1 hour later they delivered again just to find out it was the wrong food! We spoke to the guy on the desk and he laughed down the phone that my wife was allergic to the food delivered and that they made the mistake again. Waiting for a manager to call me but don't think it's going to happen...... Grim service for us but sounds like it's been happening all night

Silver bowl has gone massively down hill recently.. It's always been a bit hit and miss, but being the only chip/Chinese shop that delivers to us we persevere.. Last week a Chinese had the whole family up all night glugging water as it was incredibly salty, fish and Chips tonight absolute pants! Large cod about 6 big! I'd say smaller than standard, chips dry and obviously old! curry sauce inedible as so salty.. A complete waste of money and we are all still hungry. Don't bother trying, Henleys chop shop is so much better if you can jump in your car, eat food from here you will be disappointed.

We have been frequenting this restaurant for fish and chips for many years. Unfortunately, our recent experiences have left us rather disappointed and we will not be returning. While the chips and batter are still delicious, the main focus of the meal - the fish - has not met our expectations. The fish has not seemed very fresh on multiple occasions, a problem we never encountered before. Additionally, we have received questionable portion sizes when we ordered the "large" fish portions. The Chinese cuisine remains excellent as noted in my previous review, but the fish and chips have been a disappointment. It's a shame. Speisekarte ansehen
