"My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this picturesque classy countryside hotel along the southern tip of the historic town of Montalcino. This hotel has gorgeous grounds, lovely rooms baths, a cheerful helpful staff, and a wonderful free breakfast buffet! The highlight of our stay was their beautiful pool and the scenic view of the Tuscany countryside from the upper terraces! After having enjoyed this hotel for 2 days/2 nights at a peak vacation time in July, I was shocked at how reasonable the cost of our stay was. This hotel is the perfect location to enjoy the Val d’Oricia region. Your camera will get a work out as you drive through the countryside toward Pienza. The town of Montalcino is a wonderful little town to visit: great restaurants, shops, wine, wine, wine! Plus take the climb up along Montalcino’s castle at sunset ...you’ll be amazed! Supposedly the top of this castle is the highest point in all of Tuscany. Also, take a visit to the even smaller quaint town of Sant’Angelo in Colle which is just a few minutes south of this hotel and you’ll suddenly feel like a local Italian! Si Montalcino Hotel is the perfect launching point for all the numerous nearby wineries in this region. Montalcino is known for its famous Brunello wines (the best Italian wine in my opinion . The hotel staff will give your a map of all the wineries and make good suggestions. They will also call the wineries to set up wine tours/tastings. Our favorite Winery stops were Castello Banfi (amazing estate and winery! , Le Pottazzine, and Poggio Antico which are all just a few minutes south of Si Montalcino Hotel. Highly recommend this hotel...you won’t be disappointed!"

Proprietari molto gentili, simpatici disponibili. Hotel ben curato, con piscina e vista meravigliosa. Colazione abbondante e molto molto buona. Camera pulita, accogliente e con un bel patio.

On our last visit in 2016, there was a different chef who was amazing. The food was very good and the service was very good but not as good as the last visit. The menu was a little more limited this time.

Fantastische prijs en kwaliteitsrelatie, leunt ook naar een 4-sterren hotel in de kamer, zeer grote beangstigingen, zwembad met authentieke meubels, maar ook een minimaliseerd park, het veilige huis is een grotere plaats voor een groot ontbijt.

We stayed at the hotel a few nights and ate here several times. Both of the pastas we had were very good, our favorite was the Pici pasta with bread crumbs. I think they have a partnership with Del Bosco b/c they have several of their products, the best being their Olive Oil!

Geweldige locatie. Mooi uitzicht, loopafstand naar de stadsmontalcino. Prachtig zwembad met mooie bedden. personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! kamers niet erg speciaal, maar prima. Patio is echt aardig. Ontbijt was heel goed, maar na een paar dagen om te blijven, is een variatie mooi.

Nice hotel with good breakfast. The interior is not new, the furniture in our room was a bit old. The cleaning staff didn’t change the towels until after four days. The staff at the breakfast and reception was very serviceninded. Nice swimming pool, but there was a bit noise from the traffic nearby.

Sólo pasamos una semana allí y estamos encantados con todo: con el personal (de 10) , con la habitación, el baño, el desayuno. la piscina, realmente genial. muy importante también su ubicación ideal para viajar y conocer todo su entorno en coche (san quirico, pienza, bagno vignoni, montepulciano. tiene un aparcamiento muy amplio y sombreado (y incluso en eso. muy agradable) con el que se puede olvidar el agobio donde usted deja el coche. Puedes bajar al pueblo pero la verdad es que con el calor se pone un poco difícil. con el coche son dos minutos. ¡Vamos, recomendado a los ojos cerrados!
