What a great witherspoons , lovely staff, food was cooked just how I asked for , great surroundings with great prices . My new fave

Last year food at Smithy Fold was OK but this year very disappointing. Food cold, eggs you could have played ping pong with them rubbery.

Usually good bar service, though often very busy. Food and drink well priced. Food ingredients well-sourced. But the short-order, inc breakfast, badly cooked Speisekarte ansehen

Nice clean pub, no sticky floors as you would expect at wetherspoons. Good service and atmosphere. Friendly folk and a good location for nerby, free parking and shops.

Lovely place to visit if you want reasonably priced drinks in Glossop. Small outside area but usually there is a seat. I prefer outside than inside as it's not as full. Efficient service from staff.

I went for a steak and it was done beautifully. I had quite particular requests regarding my meal, but the new duty manager Josh ensured they were carried out, and carried out they were perfectly. He is a credit to the pub and chefs are good at what they do. I certainly recommend their steak and can only presume they put the same care into their other food. Speisekarte ansehen

I went to the wetherspoons in Glossop to meet some friends. No parking for any people. Entrance for all people. As with all spoons, very good ales on show. Plenty of alcoholic drinks available, and food on a menu. All prices for everything very very good can't be beaten anywhere. This is all spoons not just one. The prices are so competitive. Of course if you go into city centres, prices are slightly dearer. Nothing much to add. There is a pay n display across the main road.

We sient some time in The Smithy Fold on a busy Sunday morning. We required extra help with a guest of ours with special needs. The staff were brilliant in not just speeding up our order there was a wait on food due to it being as busy as it was)but also on how they engaged with all in our group. Very impressed with all the staff particularly the manager and the lady who served us who was able to sign to one of our party and had visual aides that we also carry for communicating. A potentially unsettling visit was made so much more comfortable and stress free. Thanks guys. G

I'm very disappointed! Met my sister there, and we were so happy laughing a lot, but we were judged to be intoxicated. This is the ideal point to meet for us both. To go to the bar and to be told they couldn't serve us. Thought it was some kind of sick joke. Sat down with our husbands, absolutely aghast. We spoke to the manager, a young lady,who was lovely. She obviously made a snap decision and had advised her staff not to serve us. We had pointed out our unique situation, of having only just gained contact with each other. The young lady retracted her comments and realised we were not drunk from alcohol, but drunk on happiness......huge difference. We all felt it completely spoilt our day.... Speisekarte ansehen
