Been here few times over the years. Has deteriorated recently . Now absolute toilet. Dreadful service , queue for ages, staffed by teenagers on the lowest local wages possible, serve up overpriced junk food with hygiene standards that would leave the local portaloo look hygienic , whilst Charging sky high prices. Get more staff. Return to table service. Service: Dine in

Very tasty, this seemed to be the best option once you get down to the harbour. Shout out to the chef who gave special attention to our pooch Great place to eat, even able to eat on a moored boat. Didn 't have any ketchup when we were there though. Funny as my daughter pointed out one of the tag lines on the decor was we 'll ketchup tomorrow Menu is a tiny bit confusing at first (choose a 'main event ' ie meat, then what to have it in or on, like a wrap/but etc) but at least make one have a slightly different choice. This place was absolutely wonderful! The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the location is stunning. During our four days in Cornwall, we dined here three times! The food at our hotel was too upscale and pricey, so we opted to walk along the South West Coast Path to Charlestown, and it was definitely worth it for the enjoyable experiences we had there. My husband accidentally left his hat behind during one of our visits, and when I reached out to see if they still had it, they did! They held onto it for us, and we were able to pick it up that afternoon (along with enjoying dinner again). I highly recommend this place!

Sadly a big step down this year. No table service anymore, a lot worse for it. Large queues which only serve to frustrate people. If you’re not going to do table service, get wifi and get some QR code menus on every table and allow people to order from their table. No one wants to come for a night out and spend 20-30% of their night waiting to order. We all remarked, it was v quiet but still had a queue, which is a bit odd. I’ll bet you’d blame a quieter summer on poor weather, but your offering simply isn’t as good for the changes made. It is a shame, as we absolutely loved it previously. Get a decent manager in to run it, like the tight ship it was last year!

Been here a few times on holiday. Really not impressed this time. Food was average , didn’t seem great quality and insult added, the portions were poor , and price a lot. The real problem however was the service. Terribly slow, had to queue for 20mins to order a drink and food. Only 2 people behind bar. Previously as others have said had table service. Shouldn’t have to wait that long order a drink and food. It wasn’t even busy. Staff seemed disinterested in doing the obvious things like cleaning plates and wiping down tables ! Seems this place is riding on its location and past. Spent £86 for 4 people for basically poor fast food. Won’t be back. The pizza place is much better and pier house... Speisekarte ansehen
