Soup cold and steak pie very stringy, looks like the used bits and bobs from braised steak, veg over cooked. Would think twice before I visit again...

Popped in for some lunch as we driven past here in the past and thought we would stop and try the restaurant. Pleasantries surprised by the food, the kids meals are good value and the service was great.

have eaten here some paints in the run of the years, but this time did not find the quality to be on the previous standard. it was as if they buy more precooked food from the same as brakes food. I'm sure it won't rush again. Speisekarte ansehen

hallo my family and I had our dinner here tonight bratkartoffels burned hardly gray very disappointed on my teller was burned bratkartoffel boiled carrots roasted bark not big pieces of carrots and bit broccoli rubbish tasted no...taste we all had a chippy when we were away not disturbing with pudding when this was used to come to dinner now

I have visited this restaurant several times to grab a coffee while my husband practiced his golf swing. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. This weekend, we went with friends and had a fantastic meal. The service was once again top-notch. We had been meaning to have a meal here for weeks and finally did, but it certainly won't be our last time! The food was delicious, the staff was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Keep up the great work! Thank you.

we got a table in the restaurant this afternoon to sit down and decide what we had to eat, we waited and waited and waited. in the meantime other tables arrived, they were served drinks, their commands were taken and we were totally...ignored other tables were coffee, desserts, etc. served. there were waitresses at least, maybe after minutes we came up and went, I spoke to the waitress who seemed responsible, she apologized, but that's hardly good enough. unfortunately we will not be back and cannot recommend this restaurant because we have no chance to try the food, so can not comment. The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic, with a beautifully presented setting. The haggis fritters were absolutely delicious, not overly greasy and served elegantly. The staff were very attentive and friendly. For the main course, I ordered the highland chicken. The potatoes were a bit underwhelming, lumpy in the middle and lukewarm. However, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, as was the chicken. The sauce was unexpected, more like a gravy with fried onions and mushrooms mixed in. Despite the shortcomings of the main course, it was still a delightful meal overall. I would consider returning to the restaurant, although I probably wouldn't order the highland chicken again.

Arrived at as soon as we arrived and before we were even sat at our table were told the kitchen was closing at but we called and booked a table fo anyways...sat down, place was freezing (we found out when we left...the door to outside was open the whole time)...menu was very uninspiring, food bland, my chicken was overcooked and dry, nobody in my group said anything nice about the food, as soon as we finished starters the plates were whisked away (the waitress literally came to the table to take my plate away the second I put my fork down on my plate).....and seconds later the main courses were plonked on our table....no time to digest the starter.....the staff seemed very keen to get their...

I visited this restaurant tonight with my partner to use a voucher we have received for christmas. understandably, they had a Christmas menu that was reduced but still several decisions. After we waited for one because and waited slowly, we finally took over our drink order. I have come for a pint of diet coke that hardly came more than half a pint and a corona for my partner who was barely cold and not even came with the option of kalk. After we waited a few minutes, our food order was finally taken. I ordered the chicken balmoral with chips and my partner mac and cheese with garlic bread and a side of fritten. less than minutes later our food arrived - so obviously was not freshly cooked....
