Poor service, ordered a coffee and half a cider, no sugar with coffee nearly finished the coffee no cider in site, had to ask for it again. Staff Walking around smiling but not busy. Ordered the ram roast which you would think should be quick and hot, wrong, slow and nearly cold and then had to remind staff it comes with mint sauce. So all in all nothing positive whatsoever in our visit and won't bother going back again.

We stopped here for tea and cake at the cafe. A very nice range of teas were available, and the cakes were good, although we'd have really liked to have had a Devon cream tea and were a little surprised that this wasn't available. Given the cold winter day, the large barn in which the café was housed could have been warmer, and a cold blast came in each time the sliding doors were opened. It lacked atmosphere, but would probably be lovely in the summer. Service was very good (and we apologise for forgetting to tip).
