Strid Wood Tea Rooms

I ordered bacon sandwiches. The quality of the bread was good, but there was only a small amount of bacon- the bare minimum, in fact. Overall, it was disappointing. The staff was not very friendly.

I don't normally leave reviews but I couldn't believe the price of an ordinary cheese toastie at and the same price for a plain ham sandwich. Nothing special sandwich. Harrods prices on a paper plate.

The coffee and cake were delicious but the ladies serving were distinctly offhand which made us uncomfortable and we won’t be going back again. I notice that I’m not the first to mention this in a review. Speisekarte ansehen

This restaurant is terrible. The older women working there were extremely rude. To make matters worse, we found a hair in our cake. Disgusting. When we brought it to the attention of the management, they showed no concern at all.

Parked in car park and got kids ready to go in and immbefore we even got out of car were immediately acosted by an extremely rude older member of staff wanting money for the car park. We were going in for tea! Her manner was...absolutley disgusting and we decided not to go in for cake after all.

Stopped by for coffee, food and ice cream. Was told by a snooty lady it was per day to park and we had to have a barcode. Told her I didn't know what barcode she meant but she just kept repeating. Told her we...would only be staying half hour for food and drink and she said per day parking fee regardless. Walked away and took our business elsewhere, rip off. Speisekarte ansehen

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly, but after paying £15 to park our car, we were hoping for a delicious lunch and a pleasant stroll. While the walk was enjoyable, we found the food options to be limited. We ended up ordering a bacon sandwich, which was of poor quality and quite small for the price of £5.50. However, we did enjoy the nice selection of ice cream.

Arrived for a quick cup of tea and sat in our car sorting out kids. Within minutes a women walked up to the window with a dreadful attitude demanding to know what we were doing. Deliberately antagonistic attitude and clearly a women spoiling for...an argument. Her appalling customer service and aggressive manner meant we simply drove off, loosing them a sale. Only one other family sitting at wasp ridden tables, miserable looking place, which essentially matches that of the harpy in charge. Avoid like the plague!!!

Arrived in the rain and parked in the car park waiting for a respite in the deluge before we went in. We only waited minutes when we were startled by a very hard bang on the car window. Standing at the window was year old women. I opened window somewhat afraid and said can I help And she replied very aggressively no can I help you She then spat out if you park here you pay!! I explained we were about to go in and were waiting for a pause in the rain. She then turned around uttered an expletive and went into the tea room. My elderly wife and I were so upset at the aggression we decided to move on. I've subsequently noticed this has happened to many other people here and by this unpleasant wom... Speisekarte ansehen
