Fantastic Swiss regional cuisine.....whilst admiring the view...chestnut gnocchi and nudeln with spring vegetables..the coffee finished the meal off beautifully

Der Service und das Essen waren ausgezeichnet. Die Auswahl ist vielfältig genug, aber nicht zu viel, und es scheint, dass nur regionale Erzeugnisse verwendet werden, wo es möglich und verfügbar ist.

My wife and I stopped in Soglio on our way from Lake Como to St Moritz. Really loved sitting out on the patio and soaking up the mountain vistas! Very refreshing! We enjoyed a cappuccino and we shared the Parmesan Risotto, mmmm Yummy!! Speisekarte ansehen

Wir waren diesen Sommer früh dort und es war großartig! Das Restaurant ist wundervoll, es war sonnig, und so entschieden wir uns draußen zu essen und die schöne Aussicht zu genießen. Wir hatten die "Pizzoccheri Valtellinesi" und es war köstlich.

Makes some attempt to give local meats and other produce - especially chestnuts from the hillside below - to visitors. Staff are pleasant and efficient and of course the location is superb especially if it's warm enough to sit outside on the terrace.

Wir halten hier so oft an, wie wir können, denn neben der herrlichen Aussicht ist das Essen wirklich ausgezeichnet. Die verschiedenen Gerichte mit Kastanien sind ein Muss. Beim Heranfahren an das Dorf kann man die Kastanienbäume sehen. Die Kastanien-Gnocchi sind ein wahres Vergnügen. Der lokale Käse mit etwas Honig sollte man nicht verpassen. Es gibt so viele interessante Zutaten, dass es sich lohnt, den Rat des wunderbaren Personals und des Kochs einzuholen. Speisekarte ansehen

3 of us stopped in for lunch while visiting Soglio. We had a very nice lunch of some sausage, schnitzel, and cordon bleu. The food was generally tasty although everybody agreed that it needed a little salt and overall was slightly lacking in something. The fries were good, and the food was good, just not excellent. We sat inside since there was a slight chill in the air outside, and were somewhat annoyed by a few flies that were just buzzing around the inside area. Typical Swiss prices, very high.

Drei von uns kamen zum Mittagessen vorbei, als wir Soglio besuchten. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Mittagessen mit Wurst, Schnitzel und Cordon Bleu. Das Essen war im Allgemeinen lecker, obwohl sich alle einig waren, dass es etwas Salz brauchte und es insgesamt an etwas mangelte. Die Pommes waren gut und das Essen war gut, aber nicht ausgezeichnet. Wir saßen drinnen, da die Luft draußen leicht kühl war, und ärgerten uns etwas über ein paar Fliegen, die nur im Innenbereich herumschwirrten. Typische Schweizer Preise, sehr hoch.

My daughter and I visited this ancient mountain village, Soglio, on a hot summer day in August. (I had visited this lovely place several times before, but in the month of June, and eaten at the same restaurant). On this day,we ate under a vine-covered arbour against the backcloth of the Bregell Mountains andoverlooking the Bregaglia Valley. My daughter chose "Spaghett Tomaten" (13.50 Chf.) and, as usual, I was tempted by Bratwurst Roesti (18. 00 Chf) we each had huge salad costing only 9.50 Chf - so not an expensive meal, at such a lovely place,on such a day!
