"Very Cosy old pub, nicely decorated and very quirky. Always friendly staff. Very nice atmosphere all the time we came here. The food was very delicious and reasonably priced. This pub allows to bring the dog inside. There is parking available on the road usually and it is free. Definitely recommend visiting. This pub is like a hidden gem."

"Three members of our group enjoyed perfect steaks at the Steakhouse. While it's not inexpensive, the quality of the steak makes it worth every penny. The service was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. Overall, we give it a thumbs up! We visited over the weekend and there was no wait at all."

"I have ordered from here for a long time and it’s been great and on the odd occasion when it’s not been the best, I have never complained. Tonight however the food was dreadful. So bad, I couldn’t eat it so took it back. The reaction I got from a lady there was upsetting to say the least. She shouted at me, the whole kitchen were shouting whilst I just stood there feeling upset at the reaction. I simply wanted something different (which I paid extra for) I will be taking this much further. I will never order again and two friends of mine in the area have just said they will never go there again either. I never get upset or rude but was treated with utter disgust"

"Had a lovely lunch here after a great country walk! Great atmosphere inside the pub, with the fire on created a perfect stop. Lots of options om the menu and we opted for the fish finger samdwich and chilli jacket potato from the lunch menu. Both very tasty and excellent value! "After an annoying, wasted trip to Marsh Harrier we came here to let a friendly guy sit in a beautiful window seat. somewhat disappointed they would run out chicken nuggets for the young, but pizza filled the gap. wife and mother in law had the sharpener and it looked out and smells amazing! I had the most amazing burger of all time! very enjoyed our food! it took a while, but was good Friday, waitress kept us on running so that the ladies could get the car and we all ate together. will visit this place from now on!"
