"I went to this restaurant for lunch. It was fairly quiet, with an elegant front area and a cozy rear section. The coffee was excellent and the food exceeded my expectations in terms of flavor and price. I will definitely be returning! The service was top-notch. I would recommend dining here for lunch, with prices ranging between £10-20 per person. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the flatbread."

"We discovered a dead fly and hair in our food at this restaurant. When we complained to the staff, we received no assistance. We were not offered a refund or any form of compensation for this disgusting experience. I strongly advise against dining here as the hygiene standards are clearly very poor and the staff were unhelpful. I have included images below to dissuade others from going through the same ordeal. I would not even give this place a 1-star rating."

"On holiday in the area for my 40th birthday and all I wanted was a relaxing day and a Chinese! Got the relaxing day but this Chinese is absolutely awful! Got the mixed starter and every bit was so old and dry! The duck pancakes were an absolute joke! No one could have eaten that duck! It was rock hard! So upset . £45 for a meal for 2 adults and a child and we literally gave it to the dogs and ate jars of cockles and pot noodles! You don't even get free prawn crackers or anything! At least they would have been edible! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50"

"A fantastic family run Indian restaurant. All the food is cooked fresh so may take a little time if you are a big group but it's most definitely with the wait (tuck into a fantastic stack of poppadoms). We all thought the Goan Fish curry was delicious if you can handle a bit of heat! The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating and really went the extra mile. Booking recommended. "Visited the Greenhill for News Year Day lunch. Special menu for New Years Day with some bold and exciting choices. The hotel is lovely, in a wonderful setting and is very welcoming from the off. On arrival, ample parking, we were shown to our table and offered drinks from an extensive range. The hotel was tastefully decorated for the festive period and is very welcoming. All of the staff are very professional and additionally very attentive and really lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Our starters arrived promptly and all of our group of 6 thoroughly enjoy the starters. Mains came after a break which was just the right length. Most of our group plumped for the full Roast Beef dinner, whilst i had Lemon Sole in lobster and prawn bisque and another of our group had the pork with apple cider cream sauce which he said was really yummy. It was all served on piping hot plates and came with roasted carrots, parsnips and potatoes, boiled potatoes, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire puds for the beef. ALL the food was delicious including the vegetables which all had lots of flavour and were cooked perfectly, and there was plenty of them for all of us to have plenty to eat. My Lemon some was perfectly cooked and the sauce had depth of flavour and plenty of prawns. Everyone loved the food and empty plates went back as proof! Desserts were similarly delicious and devoured. One of our group was really full so they kindly put his in a take away container to take home. I had coffee crème brûlée which was strong with coffee and just the right balance of sweet with a home made shortbread biscuit. An excellent meal in a lovely hotel with excellent attentive and friendly staff and all faultlessly delivered. A marvellous New Years Day lunch thanks everyone."
