"My husband and I were staying at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham with another couple and decided to eat in the hotel's Swatch restaurant for one evening meal. It turned out to be an excellent decision! The service was outstanding from the moment we entered the restaurant area and the good humour of the Maitre d' served to set the tone for a comfortable and entertaining evening. Although there was some problem with a few aspects of the meals as described on the menu no figs as promised in one starter and no potatoes available the chef managed to offer good alternatives and produced delicious and well presented plates of food for each course. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable experience that we will definitely seek to repeat."

The pre theatre menu was limited, but OK. Staff were very pleasant and attentive.

We had a wonderful dinner for two, featuring superb service and delicious food! Our server, Peter, even sang "Happy Birthday" for my wife, and his vocals were fantastic. Thank you again, Peter!

I always enjoy eating at the Swatch restaurant. Food and service are excellent. If I have a problem it's dealt with promptly and efficiently. The ambience is relaxing with pleasant low lighting.

Megan was our main waitress and she did an outstanding job. The food was absolutely delicious and we made a great choice. The children's meals were also very good and tasty. It’s a lovely place to enjoy dinner, with plenty of space.

Great food, affordable and the service was fast. We only had to wait around 5 10 mins for the appetizer and the main course came soon after (Incredible mash potatoes! . The only minor problem was that we had booked the restaurant for 10 pm and at the first, the server did not recognize that we had a booking and told us that the Swatch restaurant was not serving food or drinks at that time.

During this time, we also asked for refills on our drinks. Our wait for the desserts was excessively long, and when we were finally done, we had to go to the bar to request our bill since no one came to our table. It was apparent that the desserts had been microwaved and left too long, as they did not arrive in good condition. While the hotel itself is nice, the restaurant experience was lacking, and we are likely to choose a different place to eat in the future.

Misunderstood when I explained we had booked the Meerkat 241 rewards, we was at first given a spa menu, then after a lot of explaining and embarrassment (other guests listening) We was given a 39.99 dine menu for 2. Not much choice as per the choices from the al a carte menu mentioned in the rewards. Food mediocre (I personally didn’t eat my mains) too many good eateries in Nottingham delivering to a high standard with competitive prices. I booked Swatch with Meerkat Rewards, staff obviously don’t know this is a service being offered by Swatch in conjunction with the Meerkat rewards scheme. Venue lovely though!
