I can highly recommend the afternoon tea’s here, both the normal and also the dairy free version. The staff go out off there way to make you welcome and also to sure you enjoy your afternoon tea.???? Definitely worth 5 .

we celebrated my sisters 70th birthday in sykeside and for the numbers in our group 18 we were in winter garden. it was perfect. we had luck that we had a sunny day, so the gardens looked beautiful. the staff was friendly and efficient, eating was nice. we had two young children in the group and their needs were perfectly met. I would recommend sykeside in any case and would like to return to myself.

I have worked here almost two years, it was an amazing place to be serving excellent eating. my colleagues were very professional and a pleasure to work with, the venue is stunning inside and outside and I would recommend it to everyone, ideal for weddings, jubilees, funerals and parties, I was happy enough to work here and have the pleasure to eat here, eating that is amazing, the staff are brilliant and his guided by hard working beautiful people I miss sad!

My mates had their wedding reception here today(Oct 10th 2020) even under covid the staff were brilliant the conservatory was nice and cosy and the food was amazing. The buffet was varied and tasty and for the evening meal I had portobello mushroom with cheese and chilli chutney which was really nice but the chicken with dauphinois potatoes were out of this world. I was gutted when I finished my plate. I don’t normally eat chicken with the skin on but this was lovely and crispy with tender chicken underneath. 10 out of 10 to the chef that was on tonight.
