very delicious food and drinks. the staff is very friendly and helpful. every dish is very rich. if they order carefully, not order too much. good low prices. I recommend it.

Eccellente ristorante indiano al centro di bologna , bella atmosfera nel locale, buinissimo il cibo, buono il serizio, personale gentile prezzi nella media, tutto abbondante e gistoso. Lo consiglio.

Very authentic food, a great finding indeed. Perfect balance of spices, and they do have big portions. Only problem I might say is that the plate is so big that food cool down way too fast before you can finish all of them. Speisekarte ansehen

buon ristorante indiano non lontano da piazza azzarita. la camera è arredata con dipinti e strumenti musicali tipici di questa cultura. il menu è molto ampio e ricco di possibilità, con molti piatti vegetariani e di carne. è possibile mangiare seguendo la formula tutto che si può mangiare, ma devo dire che è meglio prendere meno piatti e prenderli. Non è il mio ristorante indiano preferito, ma è ancora molto buono.

We were a little apprehensive going to an Indian restaurant in Bologna. However pleasantly surprised to find a buffet with a good range of Indian food. Probably not enough spice to make it really authentic Indian but it was to be expected when in a Italy. We enjoyed the food and the service. Tahir who served us was friendly and attentive. The decor and the furnishings at the restaurant is a little tired and due for a makeover but we would recommend it for the food.

I ate at this restaurant for dinner in October 2023 and I was very impressed! I had tried to go to another Indian restaurant in Bologna but the other one was too crowded so I went to this one instead. I remember that I had Shrimp Pakora to start with and then I had something else with Shrimp for my main course along with Pulao Rice and Naan Bread. The waiters were very friendly and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning to the Taj Mahal Restaurant the next time I go to Bologna! Speisekarte ansehen

Amiamo questo posto perché il cibo è fantastico così come l'ospitalità. Il proprietario e lo staff spiegano i piatti, come mangiarli per gustarli meglio e persino la loro storia. Io sono anche vegana e ci sono molte opzioni deliziose anche per me. Provate la crema di lenticchie gialle che è perfetta come il resto. We love this place because the food is amazing and same the hospitality. The owner and the staff explain the dishes, how to eat for a better experience and even the history. I'm vegan though and there are a lot of delicious options for me. Try the yellow lentils cream that is perfect as the rest.

Locale: Bello, ricorda molto l'india, colorato, vivace Piatti: beh che dire, pietanze squisite, esotiche, menù estremamente variegato, e corpose, ed è anche all you can eat (escluso cibi a base di pesce e dolci) Qualità prezzo eccellente, anche nei giorni festivi il sovraprezzo di 2 euro rimane comunque giustificato per il lavoro ulteriore del servizio, tra l'altro estremamente cordiali. Ci son stato con un amico, abbiamo mangiato quasi fino a scoppiare, consiglio anche la bevanda Lasi al cocco, deliziosa. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente, qualità davvero elevata per essere un ristorante con formula all you can eat.

Family really enjoyed the change in pace from pasta for one night ... We arrived at 7:30pm and like most places this early the place was pretty empty. Waiters were very friendly and helpful. they recommended multiple dishes and added some great hot spices upon request. We did a mix of chicken (don 't let the chicken nuggets description drive u away) and mutton (lamb) naan, and mixed rice. All was great spicy and on point for what we were craving. You can make your reservation in trip advisor to lock in 20% discount we were pleased with price, food and atmosphere. As we were leaving about 8:30 the restaurant was filling up!
