"Best carvery we have had In telford. The staff are so friendly and every one is very helpful. The food was such a big suprise as there were roasted parsnips which is one of me and my kartners favourite vegetables not many places roast vedge so this was a nice touch. Was offered pigs in blankets too which they were lovley. The Yorkshire puddings now thats were we get good too as there home made and not frozen and tasted great. The potatos were cooked in some of the meat fat? I think they were as they tasted amazing. The beef was tender no fat at all.The staff even wrapped our cakes to go which was nice with a little bag.Thank you for such a lovley meal. Me and my partner will definitely be back for more carvery from you in the future. I couldn't fault today."

astonishing unobstructed. the staff is fabulous and incredibly fast friendly and the food was good. they get what they pay for with a carvery and for £4.99 a head, it was epic and the children loved to eat what they wanted! we're back!

my family and I have been there for 8 years. eating is always nice. jim cooks the best of all time. the pub is clean and the staff pleasant. all for just £4.99 and a drink. who can complain? I would recommend to anyone living or visiting in the opposite of telford and of course the parking is free and no problem

We were down for an event, we found pub and decided to try the carvery and it was lovely and cheap. The staff were very polite and friendly so the next day after the show we popped in for a drink before heading north and the member of staff who served us the day before was on till again and remembered us! We even had a joke with each other!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was very efficient and the cutlery and condiments were clean and full. I was going to have a carvery but decided to go for a Steak and Ale pie with roasted carrots, chips and gravy. I had the option of peas, mushy peas or baked beans. All of which I declined. At last, a proper pie with a full pastry base and not in a ceramic pot . And the contents proper filled the pie. The carrots, roasted and a little bit crisp . The chips were nice and crisp on the outside and fluffy inside . Followed up with a Chocolate Indulgence Sundae. I feel complete.

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
