Food was good, unfortunately no salt and vinegar. In fairness I wasn't asked and I didn't ask.

Excellent fish n ships better then Tailend and less expensive. I highly recommend the breaded fish, with pickles on the side. Viva la frittura!

I've been saying for months that the Perth Road needed a chippy and now thanks to the Tay Fry Inn we have one Three of us went along on a Sunday around...

I stopped by for a quick fish supper on my way to the football game. The restaurant was very nice, the staff were friendly, and the food was great. Highly recommend!

Very bad exprience I've orederd fish and chips and I got only one complete, the other was without chips... Then I called the restaurant and didn't help me in solving the dishes issue Quality of food is very low. Fish was flabby and the crust came off

I only leave reviews is if something is really good or really bad! Just stopped here for a bite to eat! the fish here was lovely and fresh cooked to perfection as were the chips! Battered pizza and sausage was great too! Will come back. would definitely recommend!

Excellent Fish n chips: we had one battered and one breaded with peas and added a few fritters VERY Tasty indeed. Will definitely buy again. Cooked fresh and nicely served. Highly Recommended. Give it a go and you won't be disappointed. Social distancing clearly shown excellent. Ordered two fish suppers, fritter roll and scampi, incredibly dissapointed. Ordered on Friday night which is normally best time to order fish&chips however all of it was undercooked and soggy. The batter on the fish was still white and well undercooked and the fritter was hard and uncooked as for the scampi my brother in law didn't finish it nor did my sister finish her fish. A word of advise to Tay fry Inn owners take pride and make an effort in what you do.

This was hands down the worst meal I have ever had in Dundee. The fish was overcooked and mushy, the fritters were bland and soggy, and the mac and cheese was gritty, greasy, and had a strange taste (I couldn't bring myself to finish it for fear of getting sick). The peas were the only decent part of the meal, despite being too sour. The overall experience was disappointing - the food was both overcooked and tasteless. On top of it all, the prices were high for such poor quality. I made the mistake of ordering half an hour before closing (due to a misunderstanding of the closing time), so I appreciate that they still served me. However, I would advise looking elsewhere for a fresh, satisfyin...
