"I was looking forward to my first visit here on Sunday. unfortunately, not sure if they were having a bad day, while in middle of ordering our food the staff were having trouble with some orders and the lady in the kitchen was being very rude to the staff in front of the customers, very unprofessional and also awful for poor staff that were trying to take our order and were being shouted at from all directions. Our order came out separately and my bacon sandwich was on wrong bread and had only 1 very small piece of bacon in and some fat (not paying over 5.00 for that) Once our food was corrected it was lovely and the scones were beautiful. shame as I don't like to complain but I was very disappointed for my first visit."

We stopped here for cake and a hot drink. The weather was lovely so we sat outside. The coffee machine was not working so a small cafetiere of coffee and a pot of tea went well with the cake. A lovely place to stop, relax enjoy a lovely piece of cake

The 1st time we came here for afternoon tea it was delicious and worth every penny. When we went back for the same we had a very different experience. No fancy sandwich fillings, just bog standard egg mayo and plain ham. The scones where very good as they had been the first time around. The cakes were abysmal. 2 slices each of 2 different types of cake. First visit we got all sorts of lovely little individual cakes and brownies. I won't be coming back it was so disappointing compared to the first time we visited.
