Teras Turkish BBQ - Speisekarte

The food was terrible, tasting like burnt wood, and the service was incredibly poor. It felt like we were talking to robots and had to ask for everything instead of being offered. It was a complete waste of money.

Our 2nd visit to this lovely gem in E17. We enjoyed a romantic evening that took us back to many lovely holidays in Turkey. Decor, atmosphere, staff and wonderful food at very reasonable prices. We will definitely be going back!

I have been coming here years and always love the food. I know covid hit business hard but there has been a price hike. I usually pay £42 but lately £50. They even charge for bread which is a dissapointmrnt. Come on Teras do you think customers won't notice!

Came here for lunch with friends and was not disappointed. I had the adana kebab which was really delicious my friends highly rated their chicken doner shish. The salad was fresh and tasty the bread plentiful. Although it does work out quite pricey I will definitely return.

Unfortunately, we moved further away from Wood Street last year so we hadn't been to Teras for a while, although we have had a few deliveries. Despite a change in the table arrangements, nothing else has changed. It is still the best Turkish restaurant in the area. The food is amazing, especially the bread. We had a vegetarian with us who had a lot of options and chose the vegetarian moussaka. We really need to go back more often.

The cost of a beer is 5 pounds. I ordered 2 beers, but was only charged for 4. I received a cash refund of 10 pounds even though I paid with a card. The mixed doner kebab had a very small portion of meat (about 100 grams) and a lot of rice (a kilo). I do not plan on returning to this restaurant because of the low quality and small dishes, the attempt to overcharge me, and the fact that a small beer costs 5 pounds. Additionally, my companion and I were the only customers on a Sunday afternoon, which makes me wonder why.

I have eaten several times in teras and eating is always of the highest standard. but what it puts above the top is the standard of the service, the staff are polite professional and helpful for a trouble. recently I needed last minute catering for a significant birthday for my wife. they help me plan a menu based on the pay I had and really saved the day supplying a hot perfectly boiled me with just a few days notification. I really can't thank or say enough about them that the restaurant is always busy, even during the week speaks volume.

teras fault-free Turkish grill in E17. we had heard good things about this place that has been open for a few months. it is now in the ground of a caff that was led by the father of the owners. they have been renovated in the right Turkish style, not exactly skin design or nothing, but in any case does not feel like their average kebab shop. more than in istanbul. in short (pressed for the time): if they have previously enjoyed the best of the Turkish places on green lanes, or in dalston or stokie, they will tear the joy of the news that teras in wood st. the lammschurre lands is the best we ever had and man, we kebabbuated summa cum laude. I went in the Teras for lunch take out start of February as I saw in the window 2 courses for £11.99, which I thought seemed reasonable. The gentleman behind the counter seemed very nice and polite. All of a sudden a young lady came out after hearing I wanted a take away on that deal. No No she screamed, that’s if you’re sitting in! I was quite shocked by her reaction. There was no one else in the restaurant which made me surprised that she didn’t want my £11.99 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, take away or otherwise.
