Love love great pizza lovely time, great staff love the summer cocktails menu

Kids table was great. Food was OK – roasts pretty dry, didn't feel it was £18 well spent.

In the back streets of East Dulwich, the food and service is always good for Sunday Lunch. Avoid the busy pubs in Lordship lane and come here. Speisekarte ansehen

Wawww... very nice startar chicken liver profiteroles with cherry infused... I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE ALL THE STARS! I really enjoyed the food with my family! I will come back for soon!

We originally booked a table outside, but the weather was terrible so when we arrived they confirmed they had proactively moved our booking inside. There was a lot of choice with food and the portions sizes were very generous when they arrived.

The Actress never fails. Great drinks and amazing food (particularly the pizzas). We last came for my Dad’s birthday and he is gluten free and they were more than happy to make edits to his order to make it okay for him. The staff never fails to make our time there welcoming. Lucy, Chris and Jasmine in particular are amazing at their jobs and make the atmosphere brilliant. Forever one of my go to pubs. Thank you! Speisekarte ansehen

Booked for our group assuming it would be busy in a pub on a Friday (had been a few years ago and remembered it as a great pub). But at 8:30 when we arrived, it was empty. No atmosphere and the same children’s party music (S Club 7) that had been playing when I’d popped in earlier that evening. They weren’t serving pizzas, had run out of pies and the burgers we ordered arrived lukewarm. Both options of free drink from the Dusk app were unavailable due to the spirits not being in stock. Bar and kitchen staff seemed in a rush to close. At 9pm. In a pub. On a Friday.

Lovely Waiters. But sadly we’re told most of what we wanted to order was no longer available. I’m not sure how you run out of roast pork on a Sunday when you advertise Sunday roasts but we understood. Sadly one of us had to miss out on a roast and opted for a burger meal instead which was pleasant. The roasts weren’t enjoyable if I’m honest. Lacked flavour. You had to grab the closest waiter/waitress when you had a chance, although when they came over they tried their best to be attentive. Gave my son a colouring pot and some paper which we appreciated. Probably won’t return here, in a nice way. Thank you for the service though.

We came for Father's Day and were placed in the Euros area, which was an odd choice but not a problem as not too loud. All 3 roasts were pretty good though over priced at £18 £20 IMO. Desserts took ages to arrive, which was odd given they clearly weren't made from scratch. I had to return my profiteroles as they were hard as in stale, or perhaps heated then left out, not frozen. The replacement was a kids' size brownie so we asked for service to be removed at the end, which tbf they did. All in all, a rather uninspiring experience with pretty basic service. This place is probably good for pizza as that's their signature thing and it's a pretty chilled place to hang out with kids, but despite... Speisekarte ansehen
