Lunchtime visit. On this occasion we had main courses only. Food very good and hot. Very good service at the bar and the food brought to our table.

immersed in today and was hit by warm friendly staff behind the bar had nice quick and simple transaction found a table instant and no queuing for the carvery. eating was amazing as I have always found it there to offer a lot to choose from. will be returning

Thank you to Ben and the team! The best carvery we have had with the tastiest roast potatoes! Lovely friendly service as always and adequately catered for our large group making us feel welcome including the children! Finished off our afternoon with the children playing on the equipment in the garden! Thoroughly enjoyed our day so thank you again

I’m a very lucky guy. The Alma is my local but I’d walk a hundred miles just to be there enjoying the great food, the welcoming team behind the bar and kitchen and the terrific value and quality in everything we savour every time we visit! Visited for the first time this afternoon. It was absolutely amazing. The range on the menu is wide and we found something for everyone, even my daughters who have severe allergies, therefore it can be hard to eat out with them. The staff, especially Ella and the managers were so lovely to deal with, they were polite and professional and really nice. The whole atmosphere meal was brilliant. Would definitely recommend and return

Really great carvery and choice of three sizes, such a good idea. Staff very welcoming and nice old roomy pub. There were six of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, will visit again.
