Our favourite Pub in Hartland, delicious food, great setting especially on the sun terrace! Highly recommend for drinks and food, you won’t be disappointed

Living in South Devon, we were able to take advantage of some glorious weather to travel to the north of the county at short notice. our stay at the Anchor was all we could have wished for, clean room, overlooking some countryside, Sensibly priced accommodation, food and drink. a pleasant patio to enjoy our drink and food in the sun. Friendly staff and ample parking.

I had the old steakburger with chips and coleslaw. the chips were so fluffy. it was all very delicious. for dessert I had sticky toffee and date pudding with tinted cream and toffee sauce. it was soouou good! would definitely recommend for eating alone, but adding to the friendly staff, clean facilities and homely feel makes it impossible not to recommend.
