"The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when I mentioned that I am a coeliac. The gluten-free options are clearly labeled on the menu, but you'll need to be cautious with substitutes, as some items aren’t safe for coeliacs (for instance, the fries are cooked in the same fryer as gluten). However, the staff were excellent in assisting me with this. I had the chargrilled chicken salad (without fries), which was delicious and made me feel safe, although the choices were quite limited. On a positive note, the pub is also very dog-friendly, which is a big plus for us."

The Angel is my favorite pub in Henley. The staff is wonderful, the food is excellent, and the riverfront seating is absolutely fantastic!

I visited Henley from the U.S. in May. Found myself at The Angel several times, for the wonderful atmosphere and service I received. Everyone was so nice! Ales were good, as was the food. Speisekarte ansehen

I visited a charming old pub where the staff were exceptionally polite and handled a rude customer with professionalism. The food was classic pub fare and very delicious. I would certainly return for another visit!

On a Summer's day in Henley this is the best place, but in fact the only place if you want to have a drink but the riverside. It's not the cheapest place to buy a drink. But the ambience is fantastic. With the historic Henley bridge and the rivee full of boats it's a wonderful setting.
