The Antelope - Speisekarte

Love this place. Jack always hosts a great pub quiz. So much so that I made a second trip to London from Canada just to go to the Antelope.

Located close to Tooting Broadway, this restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Despite needing some maintenance, I would definitely go back again. The staff were very friendly.

Their Sunday roast dinners are tasty, filling and good value. Unless there's an event on TV they have lots of spare seating, including out the back. There seems to be music most Sundays. I've tried the Pork and Chicken roast dinners and sometimes the vegetarian burgers. Speisekarte ansehen

Don't know if was just us but will never go again. Have been before andrealyenjoyed it. BUT. . Had to argue to get a fried egg on my mix grill. And all 3 stakes were tough as old boots. Onion rings soggy and the chips were like crisps. Also staff not very friendly. No never again.

This is our local which we love. We hired The Antelope’s garage in October for our engagement party. The area was great- we could decorate ourselves, play our own music link our phones to the TV and pre order Prosecco for all our guests. The staff were amazing couldn’t be more helpful!

Jack's pub quiz is the best one I have ever attended, so much so that I continue to go regularly even though I have moved to Surrey! His clever humor, dry delivery, and varied knowledge make Monday nights a standout during the week. Just be aware that cheating is not allowed at this quiz – honesty is rewarded! Speisekarte ansehen

Met a bunch of friends for drinks and a meal before heading to the football at Plough Lane. The ale was nice, the staff were pleasant, but my vegetarian stew was rather underwhelming. To be honest, it was only about six spoonfuls, so was finished in a couple of minutes. My pal had the Irish Stew which was much more substantial and even came with bread. Mine came with nothing! It was tasty enough, but for £9.50 (They were going to charge me only £7.50, but raised the price for some reason.... was seriously poor value. The other meals all looked OK to be fair, but vegetarians beware. As is often the case you will be ripped off. The football? We won 2-0 so a good evening eventually.

Went there yesterday with my wife g-daughter..... I was looking forward to their signature sausage and mash..... I was told this was off so I chose to have two starters since the choice of food was pretty mediocre. I later heard another waitress talk the the chef about sausages.... I asked her if they were on... She said that there were sausages but no mash.... I could have them with chips! .... By that time the other food was ready!.... Tooting Broadway is full of green-grocers so making mash would have taken a few minutes..... Instead the chef was out in the eating area talking to his mates/customers.
