"Met my friend here this morning for a catch up, so glad I did. What a beautiful, welcoming and totally gorgeous place this is. I had a very yummy Mocha followed by an Indian Chai tea, made by the lovely owner, who was very polite and such a genuinely nice person. Will definitely be going back again but next time I will be having some delicious cake as well. x x x x"

"Not sure what happened today, been nice when been previously but food poor and poor attitude of management. I had potato skins for starter, very greasy and undercooked. My partner had soup and was cold. I had chicken marershala for main. Had big lumps of unmelted cheese and couldn't taste the tomato, chips were also hard. When complained to management he said you were first customers of the day and chef might not have been awake. Nice attitude. We won't be going back"

"My husband booked an evening meal as he wanted somewhere special as his family was visiting us. His uncle ordered Whitby crab to start. This was a teaspoonful of crab! for My husband ordered fillet steak which was crispy on the outside and tough...in the middle, served with a few tomatoes and mushrooms Mine meal, was the worst. I ordered the lamb with jersey royal potatoes and carrots and I was offered a complimentary choice of veg to accompany the carrots. The lamb was presented in a dish and I waited for the potatoes and carrots to arrive but on further inspection I uncovered, hiding under the lamb, a potato that had been sliced into and as for “carrots” I found one tiny whole carrot the size and width of a child’s little finger! I had to remind the waiter about the complimentary veg broccoli oh and it came with kale too ! Bonus! My husband and I were so embarrassed and wanted to enjoy our dining experience with our aunt and uncle who had travelled from West Yorkshire to see us, but the food was somewhat to be desired to say the least. We were all so disappointed and we will certainly not be recommending!"

"Went for lunch over Easter so it was always going to be busy!!! We were told there was a 45 minute wait for food at the outset which was good to know. Food was really good- pork belly flatbread, chicken wrap, scampi and rarebit, drinks and decent sized puddings worked out around £23 pp plus a good tip for good service. Great spot."

"As my friends and I are football fans, we come to Ogrady’s at least once a week to watch the match. We usually get food here too as the matches we watch are late kick off. Today, just like we do every other week, a few of us came to watch a match and have something to eat/drink. Within the first hour of us being here we spent a little over £50 on food and drink, and had planned on getting dessert and more drinks after our food had settled. Within approx. 10 mins of our plates being taken off the table by the waitress, the owner (i presume), a middle aged man, came over to us and started shaking his head and calling us ridiculous and said we had 5 minutes to order more drinks before he kicked us out as he “is having a busy night” and, i’m assuming, thought we just came to watch the TV and had not bought anything. One of our group tried to tell him we had just finished our food and had already spent a fair amount of money only for him to keep mumbling “ridiculous” and walk away from us.We are paying customers, and have spent a lot of time/money here over the past few months only to be called ridiculous and threatened to be kicked out (despite spending a lot of money already in the first hour of being here). For a grown man, his attitude was terrible and I cannot believe he would speak to his customers that way. Would not recommend."
