The Christmas meal today was absolutely delicious, and the staff were fantastic as always. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.

Went in on Saturday night for the rugby with my pals and the atmosphere was brilliant definitely helped by the team Tony, Harry and Aidan who were behind the bar ! beer was spot on and our burgers were both beautiful cheers !

Absolutely love this pub. Staff are so friendly and atmosphere has been great for Christmas and the football! Food has dramatically improved. We attended on Sunday to watch the Newcastle match. It was extremely busy but the staff couldn’t do enough to find us a little table for 2 where we could see a telly. We had food which was absolutely lovely and we didn’t have to wait long at all. All staff worked extremely hard and you were never waiting long to be served at the bar. The beer garden was so busy with the nice weather as well but the empties were collected quickly. Will definitely be back in this Wednesday to watch the Newcastle game again.

Myself and five friends went out for a Christmas meal. The food was fantastic, with only one person in our group having a starter of prawn cocktail. For mains, four of us had turkey with all the trimmings and two had steak. The food was very tasty, hot, and well presented. The desserts, including cheesecake, apple and blackberry crumble, and Christmas pudding with custard, were amazing. Collette Aspinall provided lovely service and couldn't do enough for us. Despite the busy bar, the staff remained attentive and our service was not affected.

I have been frequenting this pub for the past year and the progress it has made is remarkable. The friendly Collete has always greeted me and my friends warmly since our first visit. There is plenty to enjoy at this pub throughout the week, from a well-run pub quiz on Thursdays hosted by Owen and Aidan to the regular showing of football matches. Since coming here, the pub has changed management and I must commend Ant for the improvements he has made. The food is consistently excellent (especially the chicken mix) and the outstanding customer service is top-notch. Harry at the bar will make an effort to get to know you and remember your preferences, making him a valuable member of the team. Speisekarte ansehen
