Went there this lunchtime for drinks; it seemed nice enough; it has a decent beer garden, though it could possibly do with some maintenance. The staff were quick and efficient.

good food, fab atmosphere, super service. Front bar with a cosy log fire is favourite. back bar good for the footy or rugby with a wide, curved screen tv. A great array of gins.

Have visited before, mainly on a Sunday for the lovely roast dinner. Came at lunch time today , had a fantastic and very filling steak meal. Very friendly staff , would highly recommend! Speisekarte ansehen

Really nice pub meal in a charming country location. Attractive garden with a large seating area in the lovely village of Gosmore. Traditional menu with plenty of options at a good price. Cosy indoors with a fireplace. Did takeaway during lockdown which was much appreciated. We will be back!

We’ve visited a few times and always had great service of lovely beers and fabulous food whether it’s a hearty burger or freshly prepared tasty sandwiches. Great friendly staff and punters, super selection of wines and spirits in a lovely environment with huge gardens....can’t wait until next time.

Scrumptious starter of goats cheese, endive, roast beetroot with apple slices, followed by a sirloin steak cooked beautifully medium rare. Served with noodles and Japanese dips. Just had an amazing meal here. 18 of us for a works Christmas meal. Greeted on arrival with a glass of fizz. Followed by 3 courses then mince pies and coffee. Great value for money. Fantastically cooked, the beef was perfect! Not one complaint, everyone loved it. Attentive service, Nigel and his team couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely go back. Thank you. Will have to organise an over 70’s deliverance dinner in a few months time! Also an amazing takeaway roast dinner arranged today you pulled out all the stops for Mother’s Day. My friend and I fell into the pub yesterday at 12.00 desperate for a loo and coffee after walking around St Ippolyts and Gosmore where we grew up. The lady who served us was friendly, welcoming, and the coffee was excellent, as was the lovely variety of sandwiches we, and husbands, picked-and-mixed! The sausage sarnies particularly deserve a mention. We'll certainly return when we meet up again in the spring. Speisekarte ansehen
