"I can no longer recommend this place if I tried! My friend Joe and I went for a lovely walk on a pleasant day, and we certainly built up an appetite. The food was delicious, the ambiance was perfect, and the staff—who I believe were the owners—were fantastic hosts. They were very friendly and courteous. Joe McKenzie described it as "a dream come true," as he found this oasis of calm and sanctuary. He doesn't use social media, but thanks again to the young staff, we will definitely be back soon!"

I wanted to see a blues band on the black bull, which is a wonderful place. only had a snack, but the main thing looked great. a visit worth, music was good too!

I had an amazing family dinner at this restaurant. The owners made us feel incredibly welcome. It's a charming village pub with wonderful food. I highly recommend it, and they are also dog-friendly!

What a fabulous find for us today. We came upon this lovely village pub just as we had decided we were hungry. The food was, to say the least, amazing. Good portions and fabulous friendly service. They were able to cater for a very fussy little eater as well. We will definitely be back!

Last night, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to enjoy a meal, and wow, we were not disappointed! The food and service were fantastic, and I can recommend this place 100%. The steak paired with Black Sheep Ale was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted; it melted in my mouth and was absolutely delicious. There were six of us, and everyone agreed that the food was exceptional. A big thank you to the staff for making our Saturday night out so memorable!
