We waited hours for food and dessert, despite preordering, only to have the staff rudely complain three times that the young children were then becoming restless waiting for their food.

We found this lovely pub when away on holiday. Great for family’s as also has a little park. Food was amazing and great price. Staff so helpful. If ever in this area again will be going back for a second visit.

We found this place on a Monday so sadly no meal for us, but what a beautiful setting for a quiet drink beside the river. The staff were just lovely and drinks reasonably priced. Definitely will return to this place for a meal soon. Speisekarte ansehen

A fantastic location, we stayed for one night. Excellent accommodation, fantastic dinner and breakfast with excellent choices. Probably the best breakfast I've had, it was superb. Good choice of local ales and very friendly staff. Would definitely return.

Dinner, was enjoyed by all 10 adults! Superb location, friendly and helpful staff, food was delicious and very well presented! Definitely come again all way from Kent... Was pre dinner before my daughters wedding on Sunday, in the Wedding venue... Certainly reccomend to everyone!

We attended for our granddaughter’s wedding, lovely venue, amazing staff, great food, wonderfully organised, just a beautiful day all round, finished off by family breakfast on following morning. what a fabulous place, with an overnight stay in a superb chalet (pigeon hole) and an absolutely wonderful evening meal with 18 friends. a truly memorable day. without a word of a lie it was the best food we have had whilst away from home. The service was excellent. Breakfast was equally good, none of this self service stuff, you order exactly what you want and lo behold it arrives as ordered perfectly cooked presented. fifteen out of ten in every aspect.

We visited for dinner this week as part of a group of 4 people. The food was beautifully cooked and very tasty, our only complaint was that it was served a bit cold, Our Australian guest had the lamb as did I and he said that it was the tastiest piece of lamp he'd ever eaten and I have to agree however I have an asbestos mouth and if only it had been a couple of degrees warmer. The other two people in our group had the sausages, they both said they were very good. A beautiful place to eat with scenic views and reasonable quality food.

Had evening meal here with family and friends. Gorgeous spot on the river! Food was amazing and good value for money for the quality! Staff were really friendly and helpful. My daughter is coeliac and see worry about eating out but after reading such good reviews for gluten free here we have it a try. Staff were knowledgable and reassuring. She had her own gluten free menu, even children gluten free menu (which is rare! . She also enjoyed her sundae pudding. The sachet sauces were all a may contain gluten but when I mentioned to waitress she got some gluten free ketchup from kitchen in a ramekin. Lovely find!! Speisekarte ansehen
