The waitress was helpful and the lunch was very nice. It was a good value for the price. We were able to reserve a side room for 10 people, which was great.

Visited on a day when an American car club was holding a meet later that evening. Had a meal with the wife good honest pub food at reasonable prices. Well presented but I do have a pet hate of food served on anything but a plate but they were happy to change from a wooden board to a plate. Had puddings too. Menus in the pictures. This charming restaurant is a delightful spot. We enjoyed our meal in the conservatory, which, although a bit warm, offered a lovely view of the sky. The tables and chairs were simple yet comfortable. The menu featured classic pub fare, expertly prepared. The beer selection was a bit limited. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return.

This village pub is incredibly welcoming with a friendly atmosphere. The staff and regulars are all very pleasant. The prices for beer and other drinks are reasonable. The open mic night may not have been the best quality, but it was still a fun experience. They are dog friendly, which is a plus. The food is top-notch, especially the curry which they rightfully take pride in.

I visited this restaurant for Sunday roast today. The roast beef was excellent and the portions were a good size. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a playground in the garden, making it kid-friendly. The price per person is typically between £10-20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. We had our mothers after funeral do here yesterday , it was perfect , the food was just the best , lots of variety, loads for us, all set out perfect ,everyone said how lovely the food was , the staff were lovely ,really helpful and accommodating the setting is just perfect with a conservatory and great outside seating , highly recommend this place and a big thank you to all the staff for making my mothers funeral the best it could be Kind regards Celia and family

We visited here for a family wake and couldn't have been more happier with how everything had been organised. Though our gathering was mostly in the conservatory, the main pub part beside was no trouble at all. The food, tea and coffee supplied was all superb, with enough seating for all. Nothing was too much trouble even offered and cleaned out my granddaughters sippy cup and refilling. Thank you so much to all the kind staff for helping us to gather together to honour her passing. Highly recommend.

During our recent stay in the area for a medical treatment, we found the hotel restaurant to be too expensive for our budget and the food was not great, so we decided to try out this pub for a change. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, so much so that we returned the following night for another meal. The drinks were reasonably priced and they had a great selection. The staff were excellent, friendly, and welcoming. The food was also delicious - we tried the burger one night and the fish and chips the next, both were a good size and very tasty, fitting into the category of good pub grub.
