Absolutely first rate in every way! Spacious, casual shabby chic dining room upstairs. Great service and the food was delicious every single dish!!

Lovely roast dinner. On the expensive side but one of the best tasting I’ve had in London. Lovely neighbourhood pub in a fab location. Will miss it whilst it’s being refurbished!

Trendy gastropub that I have enjoyed in the past. This time, not so much. Chose the sirloin £35.00). Gristly. Left a lot on my plate. Chips good. Salad not so good. Pistachio icecream for dessert: too sweet, sickly, and slimy for my taste. I think that's the end for me and it.

We stopped after a walk for some snacks and oh what a good idea it was!! We ordered some starters to share, basking in the sun outside with the dog (the pub is fully dog friendly) and we enjoyed some really amazing food with some wine and a Bellini, together with one of the nicest and best services we received in a while, that made it all even better. Needed to be near to Golders Green for a funeral so travelled down night before and was recommended to Bull. What a joy!! Welcomed like a friend , fab room , just right for one night as a singleton. Dinner was excellent , and there was a Quiz too! So entertainment provided too. Met some lovely people and it’s one of those places you feel very relaxed and comfortable with. No lifts so if stairs are an issue, maybe not for you.

I had an early dinner after arriving in London from Heathrow and had three delicious small-plates: Courgette Flower (stuffed with ricotta and drizzled with honey), which was fried in a light panko crust. Green salad (tender salad greens with cornichons and caper berry). Frites with aioli. All were perfect, and just what I need after a day traveling and with no food. Atmosphere is cozy but not stifling, with great tall windows.

The server was very nice as was the atmosphere. The fish and chips were good but not extraordinary, and for 23 pounds- $30, it should have been a larger portion. The portion of mushy peas was tiny. I later realized how expensive this place was for the money when I was looking around at places in Bloomsbury and SOHO. I also was given a limited choice of places to sit when I arrived, as I was told they were booked up. I had never stayed in the Gospel Oak area before so I guess this was meant to be a posh place. However, I should have looked around for another place. I rarely give mediocre reviews, but I felt I had to here. The final verdict I am sorry to say, is you can find a better pub for y...
