I use this café often, the breakfast is fine the menu is limited but plenty of choice. If you in the area go for it.

This is my first visit to the bungalow cafe in about 20 years I was pleasantly surprised that the cafe has remained the same with the addition of using the garden as an evening restaurant

As always a great place to eat. Friendly staff, great variety of food, reasonable price, depending on the time of day customers vary from workers, police, office staff, families, friends, of all ages. Highly recommended Both indoors, outdoors tables. Never had a bad experience here.

I used to love this cafe, but my recent experience was disappointing. I sent my son to get some sandwiches and coffees as we were working on the same road. I had described it as "proper food", but one bite was enough to realize it was absolute filth. The bread was so hard that I couldn't even bite into the crust. My son also agreed that the crust was far too hard, indicating that the bread was likely old. This will be the last time I spend my money there.

So this wasn't the cafe as it is by day (although I've had the breakfast there and it's very good ; this was its nighttime incarnation as a Lebanese restaurant. They used to run it every weekend but at the moment it's just for functions. We booked it for 30 people for my 50th, and it really couldn't have been nicer. The restaurant is in the garden of the cafe; they've got a very solid marquee and outdoor heaters, so it doesn't really feel like outside. The atmosphere was informal and lovely, food was fantastic (only fault was that there was too much of it! and the staff were friendly.
