"I made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant and I was extremely pleased with my experience. The staff greeted us warmly and there was no pressure to order quickly. The regular menu was fantastic, and the specials were both intriguing and tasty. The service was top-notch, with dishes arriving hot and beautifully presented. Even though we hadn't initially planned on having dessert, there were options that appealed to everyone. The coffee was also quite good. I want to give a special shout out to Jayne and the rest of the staff for their patience and attentiveness to the elderly members of our group. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future."

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and the roast beef Sunday lunch was the best I've had in a long, long time eating out... The Yorkshire Puds were worth it on their own! We'll be back soon...

On our way back to Yorkshire from Yeovil we wandered off the beaten track looking for lunch and ended up at The Butchers Arms. What a hidden gem! Great welcome, quaint and comfortable and lovely food. What a find! 10/10

We had a fantastic Christmas day lunch at this restaurant. We were fortunate that they were able to accommodate us on such a busy day. The meal and service were excellent, and we plan to visit as much as we can during the rest of our time in the area.

We had an amazing Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The cauliflower cheese was suggested to us and it exceeded our expectations. The roast beef with all the fixings was delicious. The service was outstanding, with very friendly staff who were plentiful. We ended our meal with the homemade banoffee pie and bread and butter pudding. The restaurant even welcomes dogs. Overall, it is a must-visit pub if you are in the area.
