"I had a wonderful walk on Skinningrove beach with Buster and Mrs, and decided to search for the nearest bar. I came across this incredible place, which I had passed by a few times without realizing it was a bar/restaurant. The staff were lovely and accommodating to dogs, and we enjoyed a delicious prawn sandwich with a side of chips. The other meals on the menu looked appetizing and were reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning in the future."

"Visited today for a carvery and must say it was the worst carvery I have ever visited, previously visited a number of years ago and it has changed massively.. Food was terrible, cold yorkshire puddings, veg very poor quality, over done and very mushy overall very bland and tasteless The gravy was terrible not sure you could even call it gravy to be honest. Service was very poor, served people first who where seated after us, never once come to see if everything was OK in the end we left majority of food and paid the bill which was wrong but paid anyway. Outside of building very run down safe to say really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend wont be visiting again!"

"Lovely old tradition pub with a proper fire!! Stopped off on our way home from Whitby and both had Steak Ale pie and chips. The pie was amazing, nice beefy steak and ale gravy under a flaky pastry crust. And big fat crispy homemade chips...perfect. We were served by a lovely polite young waitress, who came back halfway through our meal to check everything was OK. We hadn't booked a table, and it was busy but they were able to fit us in. They allow motorhomes over night and it's in a great area for walks. Dog friendly in the bar area. "we moved over a year ago into the opposite, and live minutes seconds of tiger inn, and we pass it most days, why it takes so long to visit!? well, it was our loss for the last year since...we visited the first time tonight. to be fair when we arrived, the parking space was lined, and we had difficult parking, and we thought we were going to another day again, but we didn't, and went into the bar. we were greeted by two friendly youngs, both dressed in uniform, who informed us that it was a riding club squatting, and they were in the functional room. the bar/restaurant area was spacious and cozy, which looked as if it had recently a renovation. first we ordered drinks and it was so nice to see that they serve a decent rose wine! After I have traded in the gastronomy, I find bars and restaurants that offer only zinfandel or pinot grigio rose, shooting in the foot. A dry French, Spanish or South African is always welcome p, but hardly ever seen. the menu was interesting, especially the black pudding frit on maische with richer gravur than appetizer, and the tiger burger also saw a challenge! everything we had was “upper drawer”. the only regret was the fact that it took us to come over a year! one is sure it won't be a year to visit the next!"

"AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE Order turned up with missing rice, ring the shop and explain lady says it will be sent out ASAP 40 minutes pass still no rice so ring the shop to be told still not left so I explained the curry and nan breads where cold to be told the owner wouldn't send us a new order and that they didn't know how to refund us as we ordered online! Owner wouldn't even speak to us on the phone. Horrendous customer service."
