"I'm not a coffee drinker, I love the smell, but not especially enjoy the taste. the coffee here is amazing. I visited twice. I ordered a double espresso for the first time and a soy cappuccino visit the second, and both tasted absolutely beautiful and in contrast to each coffee I had ever creamy frit, not bitter at all and a wonderful smooth taste. we'll go to dinner soon, as both visits were quick stops."

"Very poor value, I had vegan burger and chips; a small lonely burger in a bun with a handful of skinny fries and what constituted a salad was a small pile of rocket with a lazy squirt of balsamic glaze- chef, this does NOT constitute a dressing!! At £17.50 this was very disappointing, complaisant food, I wish I had gone down the chippy.."

"A recent change of management has led to varying reviews of people's dining experiences and it was with a little trepidation we decided to try our luck we have lived in Staverton for over 30 years and seen the pub go through highs and lows. Thankfully we had a lovely meal, with friends. The pub was reasonably full adding to the friendly ambience and we were greeted with enthusiasm by Callum and his staff. The food was very good everyone in our group enjoyed their meal some of whom are very picky !! . We were very relieved as we wish to support our local facilities and had feared that negative reviews would lead to possible loss of a much loved local hostelry. They have obviously learnt from the early negative comments as the menu was less complicated and reasonably priced.Beer is still expensive but, in contrast, the wine was very competitive, £18 £25 and good quality.At the end of the day you. want to feel that you received value for money and have a happy and relaxed experience, this we had in abundance.Thank you Sea Trout, keep up the good work and we will certainly be regular diners !"

"must be unhappy! I booked a table for my friends birthday, was first great, but about 10 minutes or so, after we sit, we were told we had to move. that was annoying when we were about halfway through our drinks and enjoy our window view. After waiting for our food mine for a long time, but they had delivered the wrong order for my friend, so I ate through my tee before she got it. I also asked about a glass of water that was completely forgotten. probably a nice pub, but a very unhappy stay and ruined my friends birthday evening"
