Always visit this place when I meet up with my parents. It is clean and the staff are really friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them. I have never had a bad meal here, would definitely recommend this place.

The food is excellent, the staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful. While the menu may be typical pub fare, it is prepared exceptionally well and the staff ensures customer satisfaction. The best small pub in Fareham is warm, friendly, and inviting, offering everything you would expect from a local establishment. From live music to meat raffles and quizzes, this pub located in the heart of the community has it all. The staff, food, drinks, and customers are always excellent.

Visited here on Wednesday 29th at 1.30pm, The service from Brendan was outstanding, we was disappointed that there was no fish available, but he recommended the Scampi instead, we was just gonna up and leave but if it haven’t been for Brendan we wouldn’t have stayed. He is an asset to the team. Definitely be back again

We stopped by this lovely pub to pass some time. We each ordered a ciabatta sandwich - I had the steak, cheese, and roasted peppers, while my wife had the bacon, avocado, and chicken for £6.99 each. Fantastic food and service. We had 4 Sunday roasts, 1 fish chips and all had pudding. Plates completely cleaned, as so good. The pub had been recommended and definitely didn't disappoint. Lovely atmosphere and view of Fareham creek from our window. Pub on small size so definitely worth booking a table as we did, so not to be disappointed.

Had to wait well over 45 mins the starter of chicken wings were greasy and not worth the wait. The chips were nice not sure why a steak would take that long to cook. The bar service was slow probably because bar staff was eating. People smoking outside right by the where we were eating. I noticed that people were being serve before us even though we ordered before them. Would not recommend at all

Popped in tonight, totally unplanned and just driving by back from Gosport First impressions were of a proper locals pub at the heart of its community but at the same time welcoming to strangers. We had a lovely couple of meals, classic pub food done very well and representing good value in these challenging times. We joined in the meat raffle too no winning ticket tho ! , looked to be some good meat selections and some very happy winners to boot. We ended our visit sharing an Elton Mess which was excellent, to the point that my wife insists I will have to get my own next time as she IS NOT sharing again !!! A well deserved 5* from us.
