The pub next door had stopped serving food but we were able to sit outside anyway and still eat the chips. the food was fresh and tasty. great location for a chippy!

Having the Catch as a close neighbour is a great asset to have. Whilst we do not use them regularly we can rely on the fish and chips, patties, pies and sauces being first class.

we have friends told how good the fish and chips are from the catch that they insisted on coming to our house for lunch so that we could prove it. So 6 turned around and I went and ordered 6 times and my guests became. from what we order as the f c. boiled and so piping hot. fresh line caught fish. just shut up.

We've had multiple takeaway from here, but the quality of the food, size of the portions and overall value for money, have been dropping steadily, the last time which WILL BE the last we had fish so old and stale, it was brown rubbery,...the batter wet greasy, The stingy portion of chips where cold and limp, despite us living 2mins away

with the lock down I have not been able to visit the catch, and have tried local fish chips where I live, but they were not where close as well as they here. the fish battery is crunchy the chips are big not...hard or stale. I called the way back from beverley races, I really enjoyed the quality. I look forward to my next visit to 2 weeks. Speisekarte ansehen

Had haddock, cod and chips. Delicious, absolutely delicious. On holiday at the lovely caravan site in south cave and saw this place as we went past. The chips were unbelievable, not sure what they were cooked in, but they were fantastic. Beautiful bits of fish...covered in crispy, yet light batter. If we lived here we'd be in.the Catch far too often!!

This is the best chipshop in the area the fish is cooked beautifully as is all the other items. Batter is tasty and more importantly crunchy Ted is an excellent fish fryer. The staff are lovely and always have a laugh mainly at Ted's expense...which makes him grumpy. But uts a great family chipshop that I look forward to visiting even with facemasks on

fresh fish, boiled to order large fluffy chips. excellent sides of curry, gravy and inherit. regularly drive 8 miles to this place the best takeaway fish and chip shop in east yorkshire. friendly staff, ready service. the visit of the last night was, as always, excellent. on one of the few tables outside when it was a mild evening. the catch has parking behind the grounds and is located next to the local village pub, if it also has a drink. also other stacking options available, all on the same standard. may not recommend enough. that of a fish and chip fanatic!
